About the Author

Chelsea O’Neal lives in her fantasy world where people can fly, vampires could be real, money is never an issue, and the romantic meeting of your true love is a normal happening. When not relaxing in Chelsea-ville, she enjoys talking with animals that talk back and taking long walks with her Prince Charming… Actually Chelsea lives in the United States in Nebraska, where she was born and raised, with her black lab Daisey, who hasn’t spoken actual words, but she is pretty sure Daisey understands her. She is yet to meet her Prince Charming, though she is quite sure he is out there. Chelsea enjoys working in a library as well as a cosmetologist. She is an avid reader and writing has always been her passion. Juniper’s Princess is her first novel, and she is working on her next book now.

I was really excited to read this debut novel since I actually know the author and we have very similar tastes in books. Not knowing what she was writing about other than the general genre, I was a bit surprised to see it was about angels and not, say, vampires. But it was a pleasant surprise, much as I love vampires there's no shortage of vampire books around and even I need a break from them. Admittedly I've not yet read many angel series, but I found this book to be a pretty unique story that was very easy to get into, kept me interested from start to finish, and left me eager to see where the next book takes me.

Chelsea O'Neal's Angel Crest Trilogy contains the books "Juniper's Princess," "Zoku's Hope," and "Garnet's Queen." These are great reads! Very detailed. A beautiful ensemble cast of chess pieces that move ever closer to checkmate. I love the mythology created about the different types of special folks and the bonding. There are romance elements, but I think primarily this is an urban fantasy/paranormal read. What romance elements there are, they are steamy! Lots of twists and turns. I will definitely read more by this author.

There once was an only child who was sitting on a rusty old bench waiting for her parents to get home. Lizza was growing impatient but still no parents. Lizza walked over to her neighbors to find that she was driving down a lane on the way to the hospital. Her parents wrre in a car crash and her mom died but her dad lived. She peered out the window and saw nothing but her own tears raining down on everyone. Greif dragged her down like a heavy weight. Lizzie was barly concieus that the car stopped and he stepped out o be in the soggy wet rain that dampened her. When she saw her dad she heard his last words Beware the whispering widow. Lizzie was scared. She had lost both her parents. Her world seemed to spin with evrrything she did. Before she knew it she was in he neighboors house neglecting everything on her plate at supprr. She picked at hr food and ran to her room and wept bitterlt. But Lizie knew she must find out what her father ment. She spebt the whole next day in her bed sobbing aa great deal

I really enjoyed reading Juniper’s Princess. This is a book that you better clear a time spot for because you will not want to put it down. The cast of characters may be confusing at first, but they will tie together as the story goes on. While this is not the first story I have read about angels, it is the first one that I have read about a race of half angel, half human.  Dani has a very interesting week. She meets two hot guys (one she likes and one she sees as a friend), finds out she is a princess, and realizes that the war is coming to her town. That’s a lot of information to understand in a short amount of time. She also realizes that she is a dream walker.  Come enjoy this story of Soul Keepers, Secret Keepers, Protectors and more as they work to find Dani and end the war. I give this story 4 out of 5 stars. The ending did feel a little rushed, but that could just be because I wanted everything tied into a nice little bow. The ending does tend to lead you to believe there will be another story.

Four Starred Angel Angels and Zoku, Maki, Keepers, Toyek, Devlo. There is a whole world out there that we know nothing about,  I must admit I got a bit confused as to who was what and what there purpose was. The book would be better for having a guide at the front explaining what each designation of Zoku was and what their purpose was,  that was the reason this is a four star, and that it had a bit of a  slow start, once you get into though, you do get hooked. The story jumps between many different points of view, which can be quite challenging at the start but you do get used to it, this is often the way that you are introduced to new characters and believe me in there are many, many characters to meets in this debut authors book, it is quick to grasp who the goodies though there was a twist I didn't see coming.  Daniah or Dani knows nothing of this world, very much part of her beloved human family, but there is a string of Zoku on their way to meet her, Dani is just what you would expect from the youngest girl in a loving family, loving, caring and giving she accepts people at face value and trusts everyone. Jaiden and Zach are Zoku though have different functions and although both go out with Dani within two days it is Jaiden who feels the most for her, whereas Zach is more like another brother. There are too many characters to mention but I will say that they are all very real and even if you only quickly meet them they  leave an impression on you and often you feel like there is more to come for that person, which will hopefully be revealed in following books. The story is just beginning and the interweaving of the lives is fascinating, the writing is wonderful and holds together what could have very easily been a mish mash but with a light hand it all comes together making you want more. I hope that there will be another book on its way very soon so I can once again get lost in this series. I received a free copy for an honest review.

This book is very different then what I normally read, but I really enjoyed it. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. One thing I really enjoyed about it is that it is written with many different characters' perspectives, not just the 2 main characters. I couldn't stop reading because I kept wondering who's point of view I was going to read next. I have to admit, Cordelia and Trevor's point of views were my favorite. Daniah grew up with a very loving family. She always knew she was adopted, but what she didn't realize was that she was really a princess. When her mother was killed she was sent away to live with her adoptive family where she would be safe until it was time for her to ascend to the throne and hopfully stop the war that has been going on since the queen's death. Jaiden came to find Daniah to take her home to save their people. But, to do that he has to prove to her that she really is the princess and is the only one that can help them. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the next one. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that likes fantasy, action and romance all in one. Great book!

This is a story about good vs. evil and it's done with characters that are angel human half-breeds. That alone gives the story a refreshing spin from the usual vampire/werewolf that most usually read. The story is about a young woman Daniah who owns her own business and goes about life in the way we all do each day. The only thing different with Daniah is she has been having visions and dreams that she don't understand. Then one day when a really hot looking guy comes into her salon to get his chest waxed. She takes Jaiden back to the room to take care of that and is completely mesmerized at how handsome he is and the fact his eyes are such a beautiful green. They have an exchange of conversation that eventually leads to him asking her out on a date. After she agrees and he leaves she finds she has another gorgeous guy waiting to get a haircut. By the time she is done with Zach he asks her to spend time with him the next day showing him around since he's new to the area. Unable to believe she has 2 dates with such hot guys she decides to just enjoy this unexpected turn of events. There are things that Daniah is unaware of and Jaiden is hoping to be able to tell her the truth of what she is and what her role is in helping to fight this war with the Delvo. They are the evil soul stealers that prey on humans and the Zoku are the good that fight to save those souls. Jaiden, Zach and now Daniah are part of the Zoku and have to work together to save those souls. This story was full of danger....suspense...some great steamy sex and everything to keep you engaged from the beginning to the end. The author did a great job with character development which made it easy for the reader to connect with each of them. Chelsea O'Neal created a whole new world for the reader to get lost in. This is not usually what I read but I enjoyed the journey of Daniah and her friends and the battle they are facing against the evil. I was given this copy to read for an honest review. I enjoyed this story and again thought it was a refreshing take on something new in the paranormal world. I look forward to seeing what she does with future books in this series! Highly recommend!
