Only a week ago Grey Alexander thought she and her sister were orphans. And like everyone else she believed Jupiter was uninhabitable. Now she’s standing on its surface, reunited with her mom and dad and on the brink of an interplanetary war. The government of Mazdaar is ruthlessly determined to claim Jupiter like they already have Earth, but Grey has joined her parents and Commander Fleur March in the Yien Dynasty’s resistance effort. Jupiter, where extinct animals roam free and seem to have an uncanny ability to communicate with her sister, is the last hope for the freedom of mankind.
When Mazdaar unexpectedly descends with a fleet of their terrifying Triangle jets, Grey and her family barely escape with their lives. Cut off from reinforcements and traveling in a ship full of strangers, who can they trust? Surely not Dana Yurkutz, the traitorous prisoner who even though she inexplicably saved Grey’s life is still loyal to Mazdaar.
Deception is their enemy’s most powerful weapon, and light and darkness soon blur on this new frontier. Nothing is as it first seems, and Grey and Dana must each choose sides before it’s too late.

I couldn' t put this book down til I was finished reading it Another action filled and delighful book! Don't miss it!
What a GREAT sequel!! Even though this story is MOSTLY about Grey and her younger sister Rin finding their parents and surviving injustices given out from Mazdaar, every character in this story has a purpose and the writing is incredible. I totally fell in love with Jupiter Winds, so much so that I read it again before reading the sequel and loved it all over again, and Jupiter Storm was a MUST read for me! It picks off right where book 1 leaves off and DOES NOT LET YOU GO until the last page. I love the Alexander family, Mrs. March and even though I don't know him well, Jet Lien is also great :) Even the villains in this story are incredible to the plot and make the action non stop!! I thought after General Evangeline Yurkutz was killed in Winds that things would calm down a little.....so not happening that way. Mom straightened and faced her. She wiped at her eyes with her sleeve. "When we get through this mission, I want you to know things are going to change." "Mom, I'm okay." "We're going to be real family again." "I thought that's what we were now." Corporal Lennox and the Schumans, I didn't like any of you but it was unfortunate what happened. In this story, Mrs. March and the Alexanders must flee to a rendezvous to escape imminent war with Mazdaar reinforcements attempting to take over Jupiter. I WAS NOT expecting the story to go in this direction, but the writing is brilliant and more secrets are revealed. Trim and Traf are still with Rin and I'm truly amazed at the young woman she is becoming. She had such a small role in Winds, but in Storm she is required to be more courageous, she becomes the unofficial nurse whenever someone gets hurt, and she develops an odd talent communicating with the zorses. I'm VERY interested to see how THAT develops! In Jupiter Storm, Grey is able to make sense of the five years she had to survive without her parents and she vows her allegiance to Mrs. March, who helped raise her and looked out for her all this time. Grey is also able to heal emotionally after all the torture she went through in Winds. Mrs. March puts everyone before her own safety and I was touched more than once at her strength in this story, especially at her age. She's just amazing from start to finish and one of my fave characters. Dana Yurkutz also has an incredible journey in Storm and she has to ask herself many difficult questions in this one. Is she really like her mother or is she capable of being so much more? Which side will she choose, The Yiens or Mazdaar? And this story also reveals secrets to her that truly make her consider which side she really belongs to. I was rooting for her redemption in Storm and just when I felt certain the plot for her was doomed, I was pleasantly surprised :) Also Jupiter itself is a VERY important entity in this sequel....more crazy winds, more extinct GIGANTIC predators, more drones and we get to witness some crazy flying maneuvers!! I've never seen a distant planet come to life as Jupiter does and I simply can't get enough of it :) I cheered, I cried a little, and was simply amazed at how resilient the Alexander family is when they continue to fight for one another. EVERYTHING I hoped for in a worthy sequel (and more) was tended to in Jupiter Storm, starting from the amazing cover, and it's easiest one of the best books ever done! Highly recommended, loved it and want more!!
