Where do I start, I guess by saying this is one of my favourite trilogies and yes you do have to read Just an Illusion Side A & Side B before reading this one. This serie touched my heart it drew me in, it broke me and it but me back together again. I hate reviews with spoilers so I'm not going into the story you can get that from the blurb what I am going to say is this book is a beautifully wtitten love story with some twists and turns along the way. Just an Illusion-EP was the book I was waiting for I needed to know the ending and it didn't disappoint, I read it in one sitting I had to know the outcome and yes there is closure and no cliffhangers. This story isn't all tears and angst there is plenty of sarcastic humour thrown in and did I mention Its hot. This trilogy is about families, friendships and boundaries but sometimes in life lines need to be crossed and what doesn't always seem right to the rest of the world feels perfect to the people involved. A brilliant end to a fantastic series if you haven't read these books yet, why not if you love rockers and romance this is a must read trilogy.

This series should come with a warning: TISSUES AND LOTS OF THEM. Tears of joy, tears of sadness, tears of sympathy and tears of happiness just to name a few. Fantastic, amazing, heart-wrenching, awesome, so many to name. There aren't enough words in the world to describe this book and this series. You will never be able to put it down. It will grab you from the first word of the first book to the last word of the last book. This series was recommended by my best friend and I waited to read it until the last book was released. And I am glad I did. No way I would have lasted if I had to wait. IT IS THAT GOOD. If you do not read any other series you MUST read this one. There aren't enough star in the universe to give this series.

OMG! This series will go down as one of my favorite series ever! Just an Illusion: The A Side was my first book by this author. I LOVED it! I couldnt wait to get my hands on the next part, then the third part. This series is seriously SO frickin good. I will recommend it to everyone I know. I hate that it has come to an end for me. I will definitely be reading all three books again and again. Ok, for the EP review I don't want to say too much because they're a lot of things revealed in this book that would be spoilers if I tell you. I will tell you that EP had my feelings out of control. I was all over the place. But I think that's a sign of a well written story. When the author can make you mad, sad, happy, etc, she (or he) has done a phenomenal job in writing it. I felt all these things as if the story was happening in my real life. I highly recommend this book and the two that came before it to everyone. It's really THAT good. I promise.

~5 ++++++ Stars~ I’m beyond words! There aren’t enough stars to give this book or Dee Kelly! I don’t think a book has ever made me this emotional! She does warn her readers at the beginning. She is NOT JOKING!!!! The story picks up right where the last one left off! This review will not be long at all. I don’t won’t to spoil anything for those who haven’t read this AWESOME series! Just know her characters will be irrevocably changed. It will not be an easy road to who they become, but it is worth every tear I shed. Kelly really taps into the emotions of her characters and made me feel every one. It was hard at times to read this one, but I made it through it with my heart pieced back together. I have been a fan of D. Kelly’s for quite some time now. One of the things I most respect about her is that she writes outside of the box. Yes, her romances are sexy, steamy, and sweet! But, her HEA’s aren’t always what I had envisioned when I began the series. However, they make sense. It may be a long journey to the end, but I never regret the paths, filled with twists and turns, to get me there. She has always impressed and awed me with her talent, but this one takes the cake. It not simply a story; it’s so much more! It’s my favorite by far! Awesome job, D!!! ***Read and Reviewed for Devilishly Delicious Book Reviews***

Devastatingly beautiful story.... There has only ever been one other book that shattered my heart the way this one did. If I had to compare the two, the other one was child's play in comparison. This book.... it is just amazing. If you haven't read the first two books in this series... stop what you're doing and go read those first. After the ending of the second book, I knew I was going to need plenty of tissues and wine for this one. I completely underestimated just how many tissues I would need. I cried almost non-stop through almost the entire book. Some were from my heart breaking for these characters and some were happy tears. All the tears, crumpled tissues and empty wine bottles were SO worth making it to the end of this book!! Thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to read an ARC of this story. This book and these characters will stay with me for a very long time. I wish I could give more than 5 stars and I wish I had adequate words to do it justice with my review!

(As one of Dee’s “Arc'etts”) It’s been almost a week since I finished EP, and I’m still not sure that, even now, I can wrap my head around it enough to put my thoughts into words that make sense or do the story justice. It was, simultaneously, completely amazing and completely awful. I can’t even remember the last book that made me cry like that (I literally cried the entire first 23%; and that’s how much it messed me up, because I know it was 23%, not just some vague “I cried for about the first quarter of the book…”); and even after that it wasn’t like it was all “smooth-sailing” and there were no more tears. And as much as I wanted to get to the end, there were parts of it that mandated that I stop and take a break because it was just too much. And by now you must all be thinking "that doesn't really sound good", or "umm.. she gave it five stars.. she liked it... right?" LoL.. I told you I was struggling with trying to put my love in to words and do it justice; yes, it hurt... and yes, I loved it. It was amazing and beautiful and gut-wrenching, and I think the biggest mind-f*** of all about the series, for me, was that, ultimately, I got what I wanted… but, God, did Dee make me (us; readers) work for it. Seriously.. read it.

I was given a copy of this book by the publisher for an unbiased review. I'm back to review the third and last book in the "The Illusion" series, and I just want to mention how honored I am to have gotten this opportunity. Dee asks us in her Facebook groups if we hate her, and I have to say I definitely do not. She needs to buy me more Kleenex, but that's another story... On to my review. There are a lot of words I can use to describe this book. heart-wrenching, angsty, sexy, uplifting, fast-paced - the list goes on. There's one that comes to mind immediately though, and it's META. It's a book that tells the story of a story that's being written, and in this final tome, the fourth wall is lowered and we see clearly what's happening in present-day. Up to this point, Mel has been giving us snippets of the tale, the general feel for what she's gone through - but not the real story. After finishing the series, I feel like the first two were just a taste. Book three was everything. Dee had to tear Mel down in order to build her back up again, and boy, did she do that. Mel is the girl who never wanted her walls to come down. She didn't want to let anyone in, let anybody penetrate that shell around her heart. But against her better judgement, Amelia allowed herself to find a group of misfits that forced her to love them. And just when she made herself vulnerable, fate swooped in and took a big chunk out of it. At the beginning of EP, we're seeing the fallout from book two's cliffhanger, and it just. doesn't. stop. I simply cannot talk about any of the other characters in this book, because I'm afraid I'll spill something spoilery - but I *will* say this, if you like angsty epic love stories, READ THESE BOOKS. I loved them so much, and I can't wait for more from Dee in the future. And seriously, I want to write so much more in my review, but I just can't! Go.. go read them now. Five "read 'em or you'll be sorry" stars. (this review is also posted at alliesstuff.com)

A good author has you feeling bad when a series comes to an end but a great author makes you feel that you are losing a friend or family member because the author has made you feel a part of the characters that they have created and you feel emptiness when it comes to a close. A little dramatic…maybe but D. Kelly and this series has left a mark on me that only one other series ever has To devour immediately or not; this was the question I had as soon as I got this book in my hands. It’s like that Christmas morning when you are down to your last gift and you really don’t want to open it right away because you know then all the gifts are done. This is a hard review to write as soon as I finished the book because I feel exhausted from the gut-wrenching lows and the heartfelt highs. For those of you who have not read the first two books in Just An Illusion series you MUST pick them up and just read the first little bit and I bet you will be as hooked as many of us were. I can’t/won’t go into any detail of this book because they feed off from the one before it. I suggest that you give yourself the time needed to read straight through because you won’t want to put the book(s) down. It also wouldn’t hurt to have that box of Kleenex ready along with a stiff drink…or three. . I would love to think that maybe there is more she can come out with for the bad boys of rock. Thank you D. Kelly for leaving me with an impression from one of the mantras in this book…”Live today like there is no tomorrow”. I received this book as an ARC for a freely given and honest review.

The only way out is through. And boy does Dee put us through a lot. Book 2 ends with tears and this one starts with tears. And the tears just kept coming. Every time I thought I'd be ok, something else would happen to cause more tears. This whole series was one giant emotional roller coaster. But in the end, it was worth it.

If there was any star higher than a 5 this book should get it and get it big !! I was emotionally wrecked from page one !! Grab a tequila and tissues and dive in !! Amelia is no stranger to heart ache but when tragedy strikes twice in one lifetime you can't blame her for shutting down and pushing everyone away. Even her new found family can't bring her out and around .. but .. maybe one person can ?? Once you start this installment you will NOT be able to out it down because you will never in your wildest dreams believe what happens from page to page !! Dive in and go get wrecked !! Maybe at the end the calming waves of the ocean just by sitting on the beach will help you get through it too ..

This is the 3rd book in the Just an Illusion series and all I can say is buckle up! Dee tried to warn us in the ARC groups for each book but I have to say that I doubted her about the crazy this series would pull out of my emotions. LOL This series HAS to be read in order because you will be lost otherwise. Now to try to write this review........ This is the most emotional wrenching book that I have read in years. I am not usually a crier over books but I cried for about 75% of the book, the other 25%, I was bouncing with happiness at the turn things were taking, sometimes all within the span of a couple pages. Please make sure you have the time to dedicate to the book and gather up tissues, chocolate, some alcohol and a nerve pill because good lord, you're going to need it. I had to take a couple of days to process the whole thing and to recover from the emotional roller coaster that this series had wrought. I absolutely love the support system that the Weston's give to each other and Mel. That's seriously the only thing I can write specifically about this book because otherwise you will know what direction the book might take. There is love, loss, new beginnings and even a couple of sweaty, swoony sexy times. There really isn't a way to write a review for this book without spoilers because everything is connected. I was so mad that the first two books were cliffhangers but this book makes up for it in a HUGE way. Have you ever had a book that you just KNOW will stay with you forever? This series is exactly that for me. The author is a magician with words and I will fan-girl to the end of time over her just because of this series.

This book has completely wrecked me. I can not stop crying even though I finished the story last night. This book is not a standalone and you need to read #1 and #2 before reading this one. This is the final chapter in the story and make sure you have a lot of tissue handy. This is the kind of story that stays with you. The characters have woven themselves into my heart and I will think about them years after reading about them. The writing was well done and I have NEVER cried myself through a whole book. This book took things to a whole other level for me. It was completely draining to read and I felt like I had been through the wringer. It is an epic love story, but not without complete heartbreak. I couldn't wait for this last book in this story, but now I'm sad that it's over. I would love to read about Darren or even a novella later down the road about this group. I am completely wrecked and this one leaves me with a big book hangover.

EP comes with a warning... I would mostly encourage you all to read this book alone, in silence, with a BIG box of tissues and a full bottle of whiskey. After the tragic ending of Just an Illusion - The B Side, you will need all your strength to read it. You will understand this whole love story around the 50% mark, I mean truly understand what the author did here. No, you can't read this one before the other two, no way. You will only spoil the fantastic story that was prepared for you. D. Kelly has become one of my favorite authors with her other series, but this one just sealed the deal. *Read and Reviewed for The Bookery Review*

Oh gosh where do I start!! First off have a copious amount of tissues handy, you will definitely need them. make sure you have read the first two books as this is a series that must be read in order. Absolutely heartbreaking emotional book that will have you so consumed you will have to pick it up and put it down as you won't be able to see the words with tears in your eyes!!! I had to do this a few times but I thoroughly enjoyed the book despite the sadness, there are also funny moments and steamy ones too! I really don't want to say anything else for fear of spoilers and I hate doing that but READ this series!! It's an absolute must read and I'm so glad I found this author, she has an incredible knack at writing stories that draw you in and tug at your heart!!
