About the Author

Annel Martin is a true Georgia Peach and would rather play in the dirt than do most anything else, but due to health issues she had to give up her passion for growing prize winning irises, along with being part of a song and dance group.
"It was devastating," she said, but soon after that she heard about ELM and what it had to offer in the writing field. She had written poetry and a monthly family newspaper for years and felt a need to improve her skills, so she signed up for one of their classes. That was eleven years ago. She has only missed two sessions and has taken some sort of writing class every session since then.
