Omar Tyree has beautifully written an excellent novel that shines as a masterpiece in contemporary literature. His main themes in the book include love, friendship, music, and tenacity. The prose is solid. The characters are fully three-dimensional, believable, fun, and interesting. Great book! I cried reading the book toward the end and I highly recommend this superb novel for overall quality and because it's a terrific read.

I was at Borders a few days ago, and they were having a book sale. I got this book for 4 dollars. I am on page...82, and I am done. Cant do it. It won. It is so boring and slow . And to think this book has 490 pages. Maybe I will try another time. I dont like the way this author writes: "He said, and then I said"... I feel like I am reading the works of a young child. I read books back to back, and this one is not one I can recommend to anyone. Even if you do like music.

This book was awesome. I really enjoyed getting inside the mind of a successful artist. This books shows that celebrities are human and have problems just as we all do. This is a really down to earth piece right here.

Just Say No! is one of the most fasinating books I've ever read. This book should be a movie! It made me cry, laugh, and just get inside of the characters as if I knew them for real. I got my boyfriend to read it (even though he doesn't read novels) and he loved it, couldn't stop talking about it. You must read this one. Great job!!!

This book took me on an urban adventure. I tried and tried to guess what would happen next but I was never right. This book gave a great depiction of how the music business can influence a person.Omar Tyree did it again with this one. I recommend this book to everyone. This should be a movie.

Just Say No! is a great book. It showed a goody goody turning N2 a wanna B gangster. What im sayin is John turned N2 a straight up thug, he was a trip. On the real this book was hard to put down. The only time i wasn't reading it is when i had lost it from room 2 room. READ IT! READ IT!

Just Say No was Omar Tyree's best work as a novelist. The story line is great and touches on many important issues that effect the Black community including materialism, iconography worship, celebrity obsession, the taboo subject of mental illness and the costly price of fame. It is a very entertaining yet candid and realistic snapshot into industry people, groupies, and industry life and can serve as guidelines/warning for anyone who is trying to break into the music business. I could relate a great deal with Tangela's position since I was once seriously involved a famous R & B artist - not Usher. This book simply has something for everyone. It made me laugh, cry, and sing out loud over and over again!!!

This book was interesting but in all actuality i really didn't like this book at all. i'm trying to keep it real all your other works were better then this even St. Louis which was on a slower pace. But Leslie to me will always be the best book,

I have read almost all of Omar's books and they just get better and better. This one was definitely on my top 3 list. It had drama, adventure, romance and just plain old mystery to it. It's a must read!

I loved this book.Omar Tyree is a great writer. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves great black novels. I love how the book tells the story backward. You start reading the book just to know how he got were he was.

I just finish reading 'Just say No!', and All I can say is that this book is to real to be just fiction, I mean Omar Tyree had to have some kind of inspiration, something that happen with a real singer a real manager, because he goes to far in the discription that you can feel what the story teller is talking and felling. Fantastic Book
