This book is more about "Mom" than it is about Bonnie. The first few chapters read OK, but then it gets into all the "oh me, oh my" of Mom and then into all the efforts Mom puts into changing laws etc. While I can understand that Mom was terribly hurt by her daughters murder, I read true crime books because I want to know the story of the crime, not about Mom. She does a good job of patting herself on the back. She is listed as the co-author, but it is written as though she is the only author.
