Blind since birth, Corrie Madison relies on her other sharpened senses in her job as a chiropractor. Never did she imagine she'd have to depend on them to identify a killer. But when a man enters her practice, murdering everyone in his path, Corrie is the only witness--putting her directly in the killer's crosshairs.

Officer Quint Axton wasn't looking for love, or even a relationship, until he meets Corrie. Beautiful and brave, resilient and intelligent, she's everything Quint wants--if he can keep her alive long enough to explore their mutual attraction. The threats on Corrie's life are escalating. Surely a blind person is helpless against a ruthless killer?

Hardly. Corrie is about to prove that disabled does not equal defenseless.

I am a big fan of Susan Stoker and have read all her books. I have already pre-ordered the next two that are available for ordering. This was a little different having a visual impaired heroine. It was great that she was not helpless. Keep the stories coming.

Usually I'm captivated by her books but lately it's almost as if she's lecturing us. On the characters blindness and how most people are thoughtless, repetition on the hero being inadvertently thoughtless. I understand it's an issue but harping on it just makes me want to put the book down. Hoping she gets back to her previous style soon.

Intersting story due to the fact the hero is a cop and his lady is born blind with prostetic eyes. Very informative and fascinating. I had no idea all that went into being blind and all the acccomodations that a blind person would need to function. The author dida great job portraying this.

Justice for Corrie was a satisfying read. It gives us a women who is blind, but has witnessed a murder. Color me intrigued just from the blurb and this idea of a blind character. I’ve showcased Ms. Stoker on my blog and each time I tell myself I’m going to try one of her books. For those that know me CR is not my genre of choice, but I do like to give them a try now and then. Justice for Corrie was one I really wanted to try; because of our heroine Corrie who has been blind since birth. I wanted to see how the author portrayed her and her disability. It’s not easy to write about a character with a disability, but I have to say Ms. Stoker did a stunning job with this aspect of the story. This different angle gave me insight into how other people live. You get to see Corrie’s daily life, her insecurities, her frustrations, and what she has done to adapt and become a strong independent women. Quinn was a likable character. He’s a police officer, he's alpha, strong, and protective. I enjoyed his relationship with Corrie. I liked how he interacted with her. He was genuinely interesting in her and sees her blindness as part of her rather then something negative. I had a delightful time reading Justice for Corrie. The unique romance, suspense, action and emotions all added up to an enjoyable read. Note: Can be read as a stand alone. Books in this series do not have to be read in order. Rated: 3 Stars *Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy provided by Susan Stoker via RockStarLit with the sole purpose of an honest review. All thoughts, comments and ratings are my own.

Another fantastic read by Susan Stoker! Justice for Corrie has captured my heart! Disabilities appear in most of Susan's books, but, Corrie is one bad mamma jamma! Tough as nails, sweet as pie and sharp as a tack. Let's not forget Quint..loveable, Alpha, smoking hot Quint! JFC is a 5 star absolute must read!

Powerful in its simplicity… Ever since I was a little girl and was intrigued with the story of Helen Keller I wondered how people survived and thrived when they were blind. Life is hard, incredibly so, when you have all of your senses available to you. What happens when you don’t? What Susan Stoker has done here has blown away every myth that may have remained and showed me exactly how a person who is blind is simply a regular person who just happens to not see… Corrie Madison is a chiropractor. She is also blind. Using the skills she’s had to hone all her life to keep herself safe, she is going to need every single one of them to survive a killer’s wrath. Quint Axton is a police officer on the case but he’s also soon more than that as he recognizes the unique qualities that make Corrie not just another beautiful face…. “I was impressed. I’m even more impressed now. You don’t take c**p from me, you’ll protect your friends with everything you have, and you have a slight sarcastic streak. You’re beautiful…” I love this author and this story is just another example of why. Corrie is blind but sees more clearly than others as she uses her hearing, her senses of touch and smell, to help her navigate the world around her. By simply living, and going about her business, Corrie’s life is shown to be as simple and complicated as anyone’s. And complicated it is as she deals with the aftermath of a tragedy that struck too close to home. I love how Quint interacts with Corrie – going out of his way to be aware of Corrie’s needs. He is genuinely interested in her and sees her blindness as an extension of her rather than something that is a negative. He is curious and doesn’t have all the answers but he talks to her about it all. There are disagreements and misunderstandings but they never stop working it out. Action and suspense are exciting backdrops to a funny, emotional and unique romance. Another story hit out of the ballpark, I can’t wait for more Texas heroes! **Reviewed for Give Me Books**

This was one really good book. It kept me on my toes and I just couldn't stop reading to knew what happened next. Corrie is such a strong female character. She doesn't let her blindness stop her. She has some serious guts for what she had to experience in this book. What can I say about Quint. Super yummy and great hero material. The way he treats Corrie just makes a girl swoon. You can feel the chemistry between Corrie and Quint. I loved the first meeting between these two. The Bad guys in this one are some serious twisted individuals. The things they've done are just heinous. Definitely evil those two are. Over all fantastic book that I would recommend. I'm going to back and read the previous books in this series.

Another winner! I don't know how she keeps doing it, but I've loved each and every book the author has written. That said, this one started a bit more slowly for me. Rest assured, the author was just setting the stage so we could appreciate what followed. This is a captivating book that allows an individual's abilities to shine through, despite a physical challenge. If you enjoy romantic suspense, then you will love this book. Just be warned, one of her books is just not enough. Each is a stand alone novel, but is so good that you'll want to read them all.

Justice for Corrie is just as good as the first book I ready from this author! She never runs out of ideas and ways to put her heroines into fixes! It's also great to see all the different kinds of strength her heroines hold when faced with their own situations! Each one has been able to deal with their situation in their own way! With Corrie's blindness, it didn't make her a victim, it made her more dangerous to the criminals! Her weakness of no sight just made her more of a liability because she was underestimated by everyone. Quint's love for Corrie was plain to tell and the way he tried to adapt himself into her world just made me love him more! The love scenes were pretty great with things from her perspective as well! The small cameo's from other characters keeps all the books loosely tied and I can't wait to see who gets up to what next! Awesome Job!!!

Another Susan Stoker Winner You've read lots of stories about hot and sexy heroes and sexy and beautiful heroines. How about a beautiful, smart, resourceful, extremely brave blind heroine? Corrie Madison has been blind since birth but has never let this handicap stop her from achieving any of her goals. Susan Stoker's descriptions of how Corrie interacts and "sees" in her world and lives life to the fullest with her blindness is amazing. Imagine being blind and dealing with death threats from brutal murderers and keeping your cool when things go drastically wrong. Corrie is a truly amazing heroine. Susan Stoker must have done tons of research to be able to write Corrie's character so realistically. Add in our hero, Quint Axton, who treats Corrie with so much care and respect from the first moment he meets her and you have a very memorable couple in a delightful, action-packed and suspenseful book. I admire this author for writing about such a strong, resourceful handicapped heroine, something you don't see all that often. Corrie was made so real to me through Susan's words. And I just fell in love with Quint along with Corrie because of his respectful and loving treatment of her. I must confess that I have loved all of the Susan Stoker stories I have read so far. Her writing style and voice is always thrilling and suspenseful, yet also thought provoking and enlightening. Justice for Corrie is another superb addition to Susan's fantastic list of books.

Justice for Corrie by Susan Stoker is my favorite book so far, I wish I could give 10 stars. This book is filled with action from page one to the end, I could not turn pages quick enough. Susan Stoker out did herself with her character Corrie, she is beautiful, blind, tough and very sassy. Quint was the perfect match for Corrie, so it was fun watching these two build a relationship. This book is a must read for anyone looking for action packed romance book. I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
