A hitman and expert marksman - who also just happens to be a martial arts master - Justus is lured into a world of crime, sex, and drugs by none other than his abusive lover, Steph. Forced to work for the world's largest drug cartel, Justus is enslaved both by his genuine affection for Steph and his crippling fear of what may happen if he tries to leave him. When a love quadrangle involving his formidable employers ensues, though, Justus soon finds himself with a greater-than-ever need to escape the deadly drug game before it ends up claiming his very life... A shocking, eye-opening urban fiction thriller, Justus takes the reader deep behind the scenes of the sinister world of underground crime. In skillful, powerful fashion, author J. Omarr highlights the raw realities of a lifestyle far from the glamorized images often displayed in movies, TV, and video games. The simple fact of the matter is that, when dealing with dangerous criminals, safety and longevity are all but assured - and when you throw in the added elements of love, lust, and betrayal, the odds of survival decrease dramatically. Such is the kind of world in which Justus finds himself, and - though a deadly underworld assassin he may be - he nonetheless evokes a certain amount of empathy from the reader as he struggles to gain some kind of leverage in a fierce ongoing battle between his mind and heart. Gritty, action-packed, and rife with suspense, Justus is a welcome new addition to the world of urban fiction. Be on the lookout for more exciting offerings from this promising young scribe. There isn't too much I can say about this book accept I loved it... I loved it so much I would loan it to my friends, allow them to read the first three pages and when they got into it, I'd take the book back and tell them to get their own.

As a woman reading such an action packed work of erotica, it made me feel a little naughty at times but it kept my interest... The action sequences and story line alone kept me turning the page and wondering what was going to happen next. This was one of those books that I could find myself reading and re-reading just to find what I might have missed in the first reading. This I would recommend to anyone...

The book as a whole was an erotic thrill ride. It engaged the reader from beginning to end. It forced the reader to throw there apprehensions and ideas of sexual life out the window and enjoy the ride I would sincerely recommend reading this book to anyone who's a fan of Zane or E. Lynn Harris, this up and coming author will soon be in the same league.
