"Kai's Superpower" is a book about a non-speaking, autistic boy named Kai whose superpower is his voice. Kai's voice is special because he uses his voice to speak sometimes but mostly he uses alternative modes of communication to augment his speech to help him effectively communicate his wants, needs, and ideas to others. "Kai's Superpower" is a book that brings awareness to and empowers non-speaking individuals as it validates all modes of communication that an individual may use as their voice.
