I had never read a book by Ms Seaton , so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I must say it had a little of everything : intrigue, romance , suspense, an interesting group of characters and the beautiful descriptions of the Australian landscapes, it’s people and the protection of the territory, made it a very good book. On a personal note , I was pleased that an other author has taken the time to remind us of the trial and tribulations the troops have to endure at war, specifically Afghanistan . Whether from the USA, Australia, Great Britain etc, these troops need to be supported upon their return. We need to help them when they return not only with physical wounds, or like our main character, Kane, with PTSD. So , thank you , Ms Seaton for doing this. The story centers around Ellie and Kane. She is a helicopter pilot for a lodge in the Territory in Australia and Kane has just returned from Afghanistan injured, and with PTSD he is not willing to acknowledge. He has been hired as an aircraft engineer in the same place. But on his first day, he meets Ellie and he ends up going up on the helo to help track some tourists that have gotten lost. It becomes obvious he is not there willingly. Add to this , Ellie’s realization on her way to work , that something is not right in the farm her family had owned at one point. She wants to investigate and as the story develops with many twists and turns, as well as an attraction between Kane and Ellie, you know that you are in for a great story. So, enough of me giving you any more details , sit back and enjoy the ride!

I really enjoyed this story and trip to Australia. The details painted a beautiful picture in my head that has added to the plan of one day visiting. I like the characters and their personalities. Ellie loves to fly and loves the Kakadu area, which pairs nicely together. Though it is hard for her to be near the old family farm. On a visit she sees some things that leaves her with questions of what is going on there. With the help of Kane a co-worker and pilot, they start to look into the situation and quickly find themselves in over their heads. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Kakadu Sunset is, by far, to me the best story that Annie Seaton has written. It is a compelling story set in the Northern Territories of Australia. Australia is a country very close to my heart but I have never been to the Northern Territories. The descriptions in the book just make me want to visit Kakadu, even though the crocodiles sound really scary. I totally enjoyed the suspense and excitement of the story and Ellie and Kane were 2 really great characters. This is a really great romantic suspense story and I'd definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys reading this genre. ** I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

There's plenty of mystery and suspense that plagues this story about mining on the World Heritage site of Kakadu National Park. A thread of romance runs, almost in the background, between the two main characters, Ellie and Kane. The deeper you read into this fantastic story, more characters get involved. Some even do terrible things they normally wouldn't. It's a dangerous tangled web they weave but highly entertaining. I would have liked to have more romance to go with our two helicopter pilots, Ellie and Kane, but the story was still great. I love the writing style of this author and I look forward to whatever comes next for her. Received a copy in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed is my own.

I must say Annie Seaton has outdone herself in this romantic suspense story. I love Australia but I've not traveled to the Northern Territory and her descriptions of the places especially the sunsets make me wanna visit and explore. I definitely enjoyed the suspense and Ellie couldn't have been more fitting as the female lead in this read. Kane also held up on his own and I enjoyed the build up between him and Ellie. I commend on the detailed research done on knowing not just the history of the locations, the politics but also in the handling of the helicopters. The story was fast paced, intriguing and those crocs definitely kept me on the edge along with the suspense. There's no reason to miss out on checking this book especially since it has strong characters, compelling storyline and a great ending. Great Book! This is a great book by Annie Seaton. Ellie Porter is a helicopter pilot who loves soaring above the glorious Kakadu National Park. When a search and rescue mission on the boundary of the older property reveals unusual excavation works, Ellie vows to investigate. Kane McClaren is Ellie’s co-pilot and the son of the current owners of the farm. They must learn to work together to find out what is really going on. If you are looking for a great book then you need to read this book. I am looking forward to the next book by this author. A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
