This is the first book in the series that the leading lady doesnt annoy me with her temper or toddler like, winey behavior, im not going to lie, i would have loved to have them get together in terms of sexual chemistry they couldnt deny before the the last half of the book, but the authors recap of their one night together helped my impatience to get to some "good stuff"! I love love love this family of guys, i just wish i always loved the girls from the beginning as much as i do the guys. I also wish there was a bit more in terms of hot love scenes throughout each book, realistically, any couple that fights as much as every single couple in this series normally has something that keeps them "connected" and fighting to work through their troubles, the idea that half of each book skips this makes it hard to connect with the "arguing" all the time, and makes the reader become annoyed with the characters(the girls) sometimes. This is by far the best book in the series so far. Im so excited for ryder and damien.

This book wasn't addicting but it was pleasant. One thing that bugged me throughout the book was the type one Diabetes facts. A character in the book gets diagnosed with type one Diabetes and from the very begining the facts sounded they came from a 1980's study that has been continuously proven wrong, but the majority of the population still believe in it because they don't really care if they understand type one Diabetes. Having type one Diabetes myself this made me uncomfortable. I actually found myself correcting the characters out loud. I think if an author wants to bring in a topic that requires research they should be thorough with said reseach, and not just list off blatantly wrong steriotypes like a school nurse.

5 star I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well and I was kept interested in the story. The story has laughs, secrets, pain, sickness, and heartbreak.  If you have not read the below I would recommend reading them first: Dominic (Slater Brothers, #1) Bronagh (Slater Brothers, #1.5)  Alec (Slater Brothers, #2) Keela (Slater Brothers #2.5) This is Aideen and Kane’s story. Aideen and Kane had one wild night but agreed that would be the end of it.  I mean they fight all the time.  But when Kane needs someone Aideen steps up and gets him to agree to her helping him out.  Now they have to be around each other every day.  Can they calm the fighting and get along?  Then a crazy surprise throws a twist into the mix and all bets are off.  Can they work together to help each other out?  What happens when the past comes back for Kane?  Will Kane be able to open up about what has him so broken?  Will Aideen get pulled into the crazy path of a killer?  Will Kane be able to protect her?  Will they come out of the crazy alive? I loved all these characters in this series. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.  I highly recommend this book, this series and this author.

Casey had me hooked on this series with Dominic but now I am starting to get frustrated. Her heriones are all the same and they bicker with their love interest like a spoiled 16 year-old. Its really lost some of its charm in that regard. Still if you liked Dominic and Alec then give Kane a read, it was a bit sweeter then the others and a good read.

The characters have such a great relationship with one another that leads you to roll your eyes or laugh along with them. I wish there was more detail about Skull but I feel he will be making an appearance in the upcoming novels. I absolutely love the relationship between the brothers and the loyalty they towards one another. Kane and Aideen have always had a love/hate relationship and that bond is strengthened in their story. Towards the end we find that Nico and Bronagh are about to engage I'm another exciting journey but at the same time we find that Branna and Ryder are going to have to fight for their relationship. I have loved this series since it began and cannot wait to read all of the novels to come! I definitely recommend these novels to anyone wanting laughs and a great read!

Excellent read! Quite the cliffhanger ending though. Love this series. Can't wait for Ryder and Damien's stories.
