This book was assigned to me for a class for child and adolescent psychopathology and is not a book I would buy for any other purpose. And whether it's the professor or the book, the book is concise and it misses a few disorders that I feel are important, such as adjustment disorder and intermittent explosive disorder. In my opinion this concise edition is TOO concise. I suppose it would be a great book for those who want an overview of fairly common disorders that pertain to children and adolescents; but for a class devoted to these disorders it is not sufficient enough.
