Karma and Reincarnation is an amazing read! The topics discussed, relationship karma, money karma, national karma etc., present the reader with a clear understanding of the spiritual principles at work on an individual basis and as a whole. Barbara's gift of clairvoyance is exercised brilliantly as she provides a compete account of our history, and offers answers to questions like, "How could a loving God allow there to be so much pain and suffering in the world?" Karma and Reincarnation has helped me to see "the bigger picture" and has opened me to experience and express a deeper level of compassion towards myself and others. It has inspired me beyond words.

This book is enlightening. It answers many questions about Karma & Reincarnation. Barbara Martin, a gifted soul that is sharing information not from her own perspective but from The Holy Hierarchy. This book is open for all of us because it is based on humanity, life, the afterlife... The details in the book are profound.

This book contains a Christian viewpoint, but does not state that you are wronged in this life that you come back in the next for revenge. It states that for every action there is a reaction. So if you are filled with love and spread love, you will receive love back. It may be this lifetime or another. The same with the negative energy, if you are filled with negative energy and spread it, you will receive it back this lifetime or another. The point of this book and our spiritual evolution is to move beyond the karmic wheel. When we are able to be in this world an we do not react to the events (good or bad) around us, then we do not create karma (good and/or bad). As for the white star for as a special blessing for being married - it is just that a special blessing for being married. I have been in a relationship for over 30 years and we have not been married - i feel we have been blessed in other ways. Sometimes when reading this material our buttons are pushed to help us grow. I have been a student of Barbara's for over four years and she is very sincere and inspired. This material may seem on the surface simple, but be assured it is not. It has been written to be read and understood by many people at varying levels of spiritual development. Each time I pick up this book, or any of her books, there is more information or insight that I am able to receive than before. I highly recommend to anyone who is serious about growing spiritually. If you are very inspired by this book, call the Spiritual Arts Institute and take a class. It can be done online - the classes are invaluable.

For all of my life I have intuitively believed in reincarnation. My research into reincarnation and karma began with exhaustive research in public libraries, and lead to university level courses on these topics through the study of Buddhism and Hinduism. My science courses also contributed furtively to my examination and contemplation of these subjects, mainly through the ideas of the indestructibility and transferability of energy throughout nature. As a spiritually inquisitive soul dabbling in numerous traditions and philosophies for many years, I synthesized the knowledge I acquired into a palatable form for my independent spiritual perspectives and practices. However, satisfaction in information and practices were always short lived and I wasn’t ever deeply satiated…I longed for deeper knowledge into the logic, processes, purpose, practices, and grander scheme of reincarnation and karma. Until reading Karma and Reincarnation: Unlocking your 800 lives to Enlightenment did I begin to truly gain a comprehensive understanding of the ‘nuts’ and ‘bolts’ of Karma and Reincarnation. This book is a phenomenal read!! The authors obviously placed a great deal of effort and care in their writing and presenting the material… it flows so smoothly and connects a breathtaking amount of information in a practical way with lessons and methods for spiritual practitioners, and has thorough, insightful discussions on the evolution of individuals, humanity and the planet. It is remarkable that the information presented in this book is based on first-hand knowledge!!! Barbara Y. Martin hasn’t gathered information from interpretations and reading old manuscripts; it is from knowledge and experiences that came about through guided instruction from spiritually enlightened beings. As humanity is growing in technical knowledge of the material world in science and health, so should the availability of highly inspired, spiritually clarifying information be made available on processes all of humans are inextricably enmeshed within—Karma & Reincarnation. This book provides it.

The author makes two political statements in Chapter 11, the Karma of Nations, and they are clearly her opinion, not messages from spirit guides, and is completely inappropriate. I only wish that she had done this in Chapter 1, so I wouldn't have wasted my time reading any more of this book. I am disgusted by this, and it makes me wonder if everything else she says is her opinion and not messages from spirit guides; she has lost all credibility in my eyes and I would not recommend this book to anyone. I would love to ask the author what kind of Karma it creates when people use GOD to push their own selfish political agenda, as she clearly has done in this book.

If you're going to spend cash on books in regards to reincarnation, skip this one, unless you enjoy seeing "God" written 10 times on each page. I suggest "Illuminating the Afterlife" by Cyndi Dale and "The Survival of The Soul" by Lisa Williams. These books WON'T tell you that if you get hurt in this life and you don't get an apology, you get to come back and get "revenge" in the next life. Really? So revenge is a good message to spread? Also, in regards to sex karma (yeah, I know), apparently only if you're married do you get the "white star" that shows up in both spouses aura which turns out to be "a special blessing to santicfy the sexual act". So if you've been in love and with the same partner for years, you will not have this because you're not married and you don't count. Their "Karma of Money" theories are quite entertaining too. Plus, they love to write a lot of vague "facts" that metaphysics "teaches us" without explaining. Such as "Metaphysics teaches us that love is the bond that holds creation together". How does metaphysics teach this? You won't gain any new insight from this book, but will recommend if you want a laugh.
