I was glad that this book was given to me as a present before I bought my first kayak. It made me an informative buyer. The salesperson could tell that I knew what I was talking about/looking for when making my purchases.
What a better way to get an idea of what you really need to know to make kayaking safe and fun. The beginnger never has a clue what is involved to learning and doing it right.
this was an excellent book for the beginner and someone asking for information. Until something happened with the taxes I was planning a new hobby. Kayaking Made Easy, the internet and my local shop made it easy for me. The illustrations supplemented the narration perfectly. I'm hoping they come up with a waterproof version for easy reference in my kayak in the future. I only wish that they would include a chapter for transport of a kayak.
