Kazu Jones, scrappy fifth grade detective, is back on the case with her friends and fellow crime solvers, March, CindeeRae, and Madeleine. There's a vandal targeting local comic book stores with anti-comic graffiti, and the team is determined to solve the mystery before their beloved shop, The Super Pickle, gets hit. When they trace the vandal's secret identity-the Dark Writer-back to a rare comic book series, they realize the case has ties to one of the biggest superhero franchises in the nation. The vandal is out for revenge, and it's up to Kazu and the team to stop this comic book criminal before things come to an explosive end.
