Everybody was different, but being too different was not so good; especially when Paula Jeanne Moore began to hear other people's thoughts, walk on water and turned up pregnant even though she was still a virgin! Keeping quiet about all the "special" things that she could do seemed to be the safest course of action. Then again being a Goddess was rather hard to hide!
