WOW....this is an awesome read!! As I consumed Keeping Score....I smiled, I laughed out loud, I was rooting, I was angry as hell, I was literally sitting on the edge of the seat, I was shocked, I was disappointed and even confused among other emotions. JUST WOW!!!!  This was an awesome read and one of the best things is during the game scenes, I WAS THERE!! Regina Hart did a fabulous job of tell the story of Warrick and Marilyn Evans while expounding on the quest for the NBA championship for the New York Monarchs.  Warrick and Marilyn Evans' marriage was challenged by the media, fans and others issues that his fame brought into their lives.  Couple this with controlling parents, belittling parents, jealousy and doubt then you had an extreme mixture of stress, pressure, anger and tiredness. As one gets lost in this story, we take that ride both good and bad with them.  We experience a range of emotions while waiting on the next "what's next."  Bravo Regina, I am looking forward to another addition to the  Love 'N Hoop series :-)

Regina Hart scored another winner in her latest basketball book, Keeping Score. NBA star Warrick Evans is so close to getting the final jewel in a long career on the courts. The championship is so close he can taste it but its coming at a very high cost. Rick’s marriage is falling apart. The unrelenting media exposure is causing troubles with his wife Dr. Marilyn Devry-Evans. Dr. Marilyn Devry-Evans thought she knew what she was getting into when she married NBA player Rick Evans. Sure there was some media attention but nothing like the run for the championship is causing. The attention is effecting her career and her possible new job. Mary isn’t sure if she should fight or fly. When a damaging story threatens a possible reconciliation Mary decides to lay it all on the line and fight for her marriage. But will Rick still be waiting? Keeping Score is another exceptional story following the lives and loves of the Brooklyn Monarach’s. You get caught up in the action on and off the court. Rick and Mary feel like a real couple with all the ups and downs that come with a high profile marriage. Their chemistry is tantalizing and some of the sexiest I have read. The basketball sequences have you routing for the team to win it all. Regina Hart is an author to watch
