When Victoria Buonadies, secretly “Torrid Tori” Baxter, author of sizzling erotic romances, arrives at the Hudson Valley farmhouse she’s inherited, handsome Jack Conner terrifies her as he steps naked from the shower.
A comic romance, Keeping Victoria's Secret is about two people coping with sacrifice, betrayal, and loss, while discovering love.
Victoria was longtime caregiver for her grandmother who’s left her the farm. After years of working for his unscrupulous Uncle Charley, Jack also inherits the farm, but unfortunately, Charley never was the owner. Sinister Jonathan Van Winkle lawyers-up, claiming he’s the rightful heir. Then a mysterious elderly gentleman arrives, claiming the property is his.
Victoria and Jack become unwilling allies and eventually willing lovers. She struggles to keep her authorship of erotic romances a secret in the small town of Pippen's Grove. Jack discovers there’s more to Victoria than he first realized and he's not the only one with romantic aspirations.
