Deep in a secret, underground laboratory, a group of scientists find themselves in danger. Achieving cutting-edge breakthroughs in genetic engineering, they have created powerful viruses, the likes of which the world has never seen. But their creations have the power to turn on them-and do.

The scientists work for the U.S. military, developing biological weapons in direct violation of federal and international law. But while these dedicated men and women create microscopic monsters, they work even harder to develop antidotes to stop them.

Some monsters can't be contained, though. Or stopped.

When an accident unleashes Keres' Eyes, Craig Leland, commander of the laboratory, and his team watch helplessly as the virus kills one of their own. They reel, struggling to come to grips with their loss. But their nightmare is just beginning, and all is not as it seems. In a race against time, with no way out, Craig must fight for his team's survival-and the woman he secretly loves.

This gripping novel about a deadly virus used against it's creators was thrilling to read and hard to put down. I look forward to many more books from this new author.

Pick up this novel and you won't put it down until you've read the last page. A smartly written science fiction novel filled with suspense, strong and riveting plot developments, and a chilling sense that fiction can be real. As time ticks by in a secret underground lab, the reader is left to wonder who will and won't survive and if the unexpected hero can outsmart evil.

With the staccato of a Raymond Chandler mystery, sprinkled with poetic descriptions, Keres’ Eyes is fast sci-fi read.  To read it now, you would think that the author had foretold the future in terms of the ebola scare. The main characters come to grips with a deadly virus they created and that has come to kill their own.  A good first novel for Michael Curtis.  Creative and captivating.

Great read, extremely suspenseful, keeps you guessing the whole.  He also really develops the characters very well.  If you like intrigue with some science fiction included then this is your book.  A real pager turner.

What a great book! Fast-paced, edge of your seat story and a very scary premise! I hope it's not real. The twists and turns will get you. I can't wait to read more from this author.
