This really lacked substance amd believability. Yes, there were events that occured throughout the story, but I just found it overall lacking and I was unable to immerse myself in the story even with the extensive-and probably unnecessary- background details. There was a scene where it said the girl had her hands tied behind her back, then in the very next sentence it said that she was given bread and water and she ate it, please tell me how this is physically possible. It was inconsistencies like this made it difficult for me to get into story.
I don't generally give bad reviews; I just don't leave one. However, this story was awful and made no sense. It's less than 40 pages and leaves you not only hanging but also expects you to buy that this woman is raped multiple times then gets excited over the Marine. Really??
