About the Author

Ricky Ginsburg is usually found on the beach. Occasionally, he designs gardens, software, and websites. When the mood strikes him, he writes. Ricky began writing short fiction in October 2006 and has penned nearly 300 stories in a plethora of genres since. Currently he has over one hundred short stories published in dozens of magazines and online. "Kidnapped In Overtime", Ricky's third Kindle offering, continues the career of the first female detective in the Boston Police Department and a firm belief that the three highest paid professions should be cops, firefighters, and teachers.

While most of this novel appears to be factual, all of the characters come from the writer's imagination. Anything that resembles actual detective procedures stems from many hours of television, starting with Dragnet in the 60s and continuing through constant reruns of Law & Order today.
