When faced with books full of long instructions and line drawings that were often hard to follow, Emily and Elizabeth set out to make the ultimate balloon animal twist book -- for kids, by kids, with every page in full color photographs.

They left out the complicated designs and twists that required big hands, keeping only the projects that were fun and simple to learn. The book starts with seven-year-old Elizabeth's easiest balloon twists and works up to ten-year-old Emily's more advanced three-balloon creations.

Included are suggestions on how to buy a pump and balloons, as well as warnings for noise-shy twisters who want to know when a part of the project needs extra care to avoid popping the balloon.

The Nook color version includes bonus pages with a butterfly and link to video.

Meet the Author

Emily Chauffe is a regular at Kent Cummins Magic Camp, excelling at balloon twists, juggling, and creating her own magic tricks with rope. She moved from camper to counselor when she turned 13 and now teaches juggling.

Elizabeth Chauffe enjoys the showmanship of being on stage. At book signings, she is the first to jump into the audience and help younger balloon artists master their twists. She believes everyone should be able to make their own animals with balloons.

We got the paperback version of this book and loved it. My young niece and nephews had a great time making balloons at Christmas. Having it on my Nook makes it easier to share, plus the link to video is great for first timers. And it has a new twist--a butterfly!

Great book for kids! My kids (5 & 7) love looking at the pages and creating new balloon animals. So glad it's now on the NOOK so we can take it anywhere we go!

Barnes and Noble hasn't connected the print version and the Nook version of this book, but both are available. The e-book is $2.99 and contains bonus material.
