Kieran is meant to be the ultimate level-three Shareem, unthinking and sexually driven, without much emotion and personal thought. Now that he's free of the experimenters who tortured him, he feels as though he's two people-the Kieran who struggles to fit in even with other Shareem, and the Kieran who can become the commanding level three at the touch of a woman's hand.

Kieran is the one sent to scope out the transports that might take Shareem away from their restricted life for good, but that plan goes awry when he stumbles across Felice, who is fleeing from a life of slavery to Bor Narga.

Felice stirs the level three in him, but Kieran responds to her as Kieran as well, finding in her a woman who understands him better than he understands himself. Kieran jeopardizes the safety and freedom of all Shareem by pausing to help Felice, but he also jeopardizes his heart, which was supposed to have been stripped of all deeper emotion.

I so enjoyed Kieran. He's so sweet and protective of Felice. He sees himself as damaged beyond redemption. Felice see so much more; she sees his kindness, generosity and he makes her feel safe. She looks at the whole man and loves all of him. The ending is wonderful and left me with such hope for the future of all the shareem. Highly recommended author and series Adult read

Great conclusion for an adult-themed SF series. This does not work well as a stand alone since prior knowledge of characters and setting is vital to full enjoyment.

Truly enjoyed Kieran and Felices story. Felice makes him feel whole. not level 3 not Shareem but Kieran the man whom she loves. I don't want to give spoilers out so on that note... It is a must read it's a end of series novel so please take time to read the other books in the series. It's well worth it.

Incredible read. Felt a little rushed but still incredible. It is important to read the preceding books first, though. It was so nice to catch up with "old friends."

Allyson James writes adult stream worthy books, along with traditional romance under the name Jennifer Ashley. The books are very well written with great story lines and strong female characters. This one is about a kind yet simple man who's never been allowed to see his full potential. It's also the wrap up of a multi book story line. There's a lot of anxiety, but fear not - it is a romance and things work out.

Hi, Jennifer, I just finished 'Kieran', after rereading the whole Shareem series. Loved all of the books. 'Kieran' really wrapped up the Shereems' feelings for their ladies. The poor guy had been so mistreated, and it was great to see him learn to appreciate himself, as one person. Felice was wonderful and strong, where the other ladies weren't. Her scars were both physical and mental, but she put those aside to help Kieran. Looking forward to more Shareem stories. Of course, Silbie's. Best wishes on your continued success.
