Overview

Max Gorman could best be described as "medium."  There was nothing terribly noteworthy about him.

His days were mostly spent working, playing basketball with his friends and boring people to tears with gushing stories of his teenage daughter.

His only real vice was sneaking off to the store to get a Dr.Pepper and a bag of Funyuns.

It was a chance encounter during one of these covert trips to the store that would send him hurtling down a path into a world that he had no business being part of.

A world that was filled with criminals, traitors and CIA sniper teams.

When his involvement in this world causes his daughter to be kidnapped it forces Max to be braver than he really was.

Although he was willing to do whatever it would take to get his daughter back ,he was  clearly in over his head and needed help

Help would arrive from the most unlikely place.

About the Author

As the oldest son of a retired Air Force Sergeant, first time author Scott Brubaker’s youth was spent moving from one Air Force base to another. This nomadic lifestyle not only exposed him to a wide variety of people and places it also helped to develop a vivid imagination and a love of storytelling. Many a grand adventure was imagined in the back of the family car on yet another cross country move.
Although not classically trained, it is his knack for seeing the comedy and the drama, the pain and the joy in all people and in all situations that makes him such a compelling storyteller. His first novel “Killer Spy Chick” is the realization of a lifelong dream
An Air Force veteran himself and a former High School Football coach, he now resides in Arizona with his wife Dawn and near his three adult children Jessica, Brian and Cameron.
