Cindy York is married to an amazing man, has 3 children, a great best friend, and a career. Life should be good for Cindy. Unfortunately it isn't. She is having trouble selling houses because Tiffany, one of the other realtors in the agency keeps stealing her potential clients. Her boss Donna will not do anything about it because she doesn't seem to like Cindy and she adores Tiffany To make matters worse Cindy finds Tiffany's body after hours at the office. Everyone hated Tiffany, especially Cindy but some how the investigation seems to be focused on Cindy even though she didn't do it. Cindy, with the help of her best friend, Jacques, try to figure out who hated Tiffany enough to want her dead and why they are framing Cindy. As Cindy gets closer to finding out the truth, there is one piece of the puzzle that is missing. Can she figure it out before its too late ? Catherine Bruns is amazing. Her writing is so intriguing and captivating, that I want more. The way she lures you in and captures you is mind blowing. Not to mention the way everything comes together in the end will have you reading faster and faster and you will feel like you are right there. I really want to tell you what happened in the end, who the killer was and why but I will leave it for you to enjoy and believe me..... You will thoroughly LOVE this book and author !!

I’m new to the writing of Catherine Bruns, this being the second book I’ve read by the author, but I already find her to be an excellent writer and look forward to reading more books from her. KILLER TRANSTION follows Cindy York, real estate agent, wife, and mother. She’s very much a meet-her-in-the-world-everyday sort of character. Meaning, the readers will find they ether know someone like her or that they are just like her themselves…..but without finding dead bodies. ;-) This was a fast paced read that I read in one setting. The story has a great flow, moving from scene to scene and chapter to chapter without many “wasted words” (you know what I mean- things like drawn out descriptions). And with every twist and question that came up, Ms. Bruns kept me guessing until the surprising, action filled reveal! If you’re looking for a fun whodunit, give Killer Transaction a try!

This is one of those stories that we all can relate to. You try to do the right thing and there is always some one trying to get the credit or in this case the profit from your work. Cindy York is feed up with doing the work and her co worker getting the commission. She goes to meet her and confront her to get this worked out and finds her co worker dead, Cindy becomes the main suspect and has to find the real killer before the killer finds her. This was an easy read and kept you in suspense until the very end.

I was given an ARC by the publisher and WOW, what an excellent mystery!!! Absolutely loved every page of this story & sometimes laughed out loud at the antics/banter of the characters. This author is definitely gifted and does such a great job blending this tale that I just could not put it down. 100% recommend to anyone who loves a mystery that can hold your attention without having to be a serial killer story. :) This will be a hard act to follow but I can't wait to read the next one in this series.

Happily married and sadly broke, Cindy York is a real estate agent. When her boss asks her to show some homes to her husband, Cindy thinks there is something odd going on but the need for a sale outweighs her concerns. Next thing you know Cindy discovers a dead body and is being accused of murder. This story slowly pulls you in until it is nearly impossible to put it down because you need to know how it is going to end. I will be watching for the next Cindy York mystery.
