Kim Kardashian West: Selfish by Kim Kardashian West

New York Times Bestseller - Celebrity List

The selfie photography of Kim Kardashian West, featuring many never-before-seen personal images from one of the most recognizable and iconic celebrities in the world. From her early beginnings as a wardrobe stylist, Kim Kardashian West has catapulted herself into becoming one of the most recognizable celebrities in Hollywood. Hailed by many (including Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci) as the modern-day personification of Marilyn Monroe, Kim has become a true American icon. With her curvaceous style, successful reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, DASH clothing store, makeup and perfume lines, she has acquired a massive fan following in the multi-millions. Through social media (Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook), Kim connects with her fans on a daily basis, sharing details of her life with her selfie photography. Widely regarded as a trailblazer of the "selfie movement"—a modern-day self-portrait of the digital age—Kim has mastered the art of taking flattering and highly personal photos of oneself. For the first time in print, this book presents some of Kim’s favorite selfies in one volume—from her favorite throwback images to current ultra-sexy glam shots—and provides readers with a behind-the-scenes look into this larger-than-life star.

Horrible book. Teaching the next generation that if they're extremely vain and vapid they can get rich. No thank you.

why put your selfies on facebook or instagram for free when a bunch a people will pay for them. Unbelivable and sad what society deems as "interesting"*sighs*

I didn't buy this nor do I need to, to see this is nothing but complete garbage. I wouldn't use the pages bound to this shload of crap to roll up a used tampon. As an author who has spent real time and dedication composing a novel that was rejected 40 times before getting published, I'm utterly insulted something like this is a best seller.

Even the description of this book is absolute crap. "Hailed by many (including Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci) as the modern-day personification of Marilyn Monroe, Kim has become a true American icon." Marilyn had class. Kim does not. Plain and simple. And I want no part of any America where Kim Kardashian is a true icon. Just more garbage from her artificially inflated ego and body.

I find it sad that Barnes & Noble is selling this "book". I will no longer support them and buy my books elsewhere.

If Kim Kardashian  a  slcares to be known as a slut, , a whore, and a filthy pig, as she portrays , I don't wish to do business with a firm ( read Barnes and Noble as the   company I am referring to here) and I am totaling turned off by that fact that when I clicked on the advertisement on my Bingo game (Bingo World) this was the advertisement that greeted me put out by Ad Choice and Criteo Advertising with the approval and allowance of Barnes and Noble. This is disgusting.i)

Nothing unique or worth purchasing!   You can get the exact same materials from her twitter or instagram feed.  There isn't new commentary on her life or any groundbreaking new photos.  This book is a completely waste of money.

This is neither interesting nor candid; it is an anthology of what is wrong with American culture.  This was sent to me as a gag gift from a very disturbed individual I once called a friend. He is a friend no more. To thrust this upon me, this "book," was just mean, sir.  In the scientific sense, sure, it's a book: it has a front cover, pages in-between and a back cover, so good job on that front team.  But even the quality of the construction of the book is fairly shoddy. Content-wise, it's nothing more than a collection of maniacal low quality photos aimed at giving teenagers a complex about self image and distort what reality and success really are.  The best way I can describe this "book" is as follows: Sh*t Sandwich I award you no points and my god have mercy on your soul.

Features a collection of photos of Kim with family, friends, and some of bare skin. Occasionally insightful.
