I can not even begin to describe how much I loved this freaking book! I love reading a book that makes you feel even a small amount of what the characters are feeling. This book had my emotional grid all over the place and I loved every minute. Can not until Tyrant comes out.

King by T.M. Frazier was amazing. The twist and turns keeps you guessing and begging for more. It was well written and the characters full of life. It is so easy to get lost in their world. I cried and laughed - keeping me on an emotional rollercoast.. King is a badass and does not take no for answer taking what he wants... Doe is sweet but lost- she tends to speak before thinking about what she is saying. I cannot wait till the follow up book - Tyrant.

There's so much to say about this book and some that can't be mentioned because I hate spoilers. This book was so much more than I was expected I mean not the quality but the story. It is well written and edited, The characters are more than they seem. There is a hidden story behind each of them Preppy who tries to be strong but is so battered and bruised from his childhood. The childhood that was bearable because of King. They rescued each other and created a bond that would span a lifetime. Then there's Doe. She fit in with them perfectly and lost and abandoned as she was she completed them. They all had a past and came together when they needed each other most. This author takes you there. Into the darkness and not some of these dark reads out here. This is different. It isn't pretty. But it is gentle. It is love in it's deepest form. This is my first read by this author and I am completely floored. It was an amazing read which makes me want to read more of the series. I got serious feels from this book.

This is unlike any other MC Biker romance I have ever read. I wasn't so sure I would like it let alone finish it but after I got past the unconventional beginning I was hooked. The characters are unapologetic for who they are, how they live their lives. There is sarcasm at every turn. There is triggers so if you have any I wouldn't read this series. My reactions to the characters even made my husband interested in what I was reading. There were times I laughed out loud, gasped at what was taken place upon the page. The plot is fast moving. This is the first book in this series. And if you dont read it, you will be lost in the following book of Tyrant. T. M. Frazier has become a new favorite author of mine.

Its hard to even describe how this book made me feel. I absolutely LOVED this book as well as the second part (Tyrant). I read both in 2 days. I couldn't stop thinking, talking, and dreaming about this book. I REALLY wished King was a real guy because he is so sexy and yummy. This book really hit me in the best way. This book (and tyrant) easily became a fantasy for me. King is so powerful and knows exactly who he is and the control he has over anyone. Your going to have a love and hate relationship with him throughout the book. Doe is strong and very interesting. I was dying to know what in the world happened to her! (I also whished I was her sometimes!) Its scary, thrilling, hot, sexy, and dramatic. After you read this one don't hesitate to get Tyrant! I didn't take a single break between the two books. Now I'm off to read Lawless (Bear's Story). I also bought Soulless even though I haven't started Lawless yet. I already know I'm going to binge read and love it.

King is book one in the King series. The book focuses around King, a guy that was just released from prison, and Doe, a woman that has amnesia and no one to turn to. I've seen this book around for awhile now and have been wanting to try it so I'm glad I finally got around to it! I have a soft spot for the bad boys, so King was a perfect fit for me. So as I mentioned, Doe has amnesia and has no clue who she is or where she's supposed to be. With no one looking for her, Doe winds up being homeless. She's taken under a hooker's wing and winds up at a house party. The plan was to snag a biker, become his old lady and basically not have to worry about anything. She'd have protection, food, shelter, everything she lacks out on the streets. What she didn't plan for was her hooker friend to steal King's money and abandon her. Doe is left to foot the bill and is pretty much King's prisoner. At least that's how it starts out, it doesn't take long before both Doe and King develops feelings for one another. King is extremely rough around the edges and does whatever he wants. He's going to be a love or hate type character, I wound up enjoying him for the most part, there were a few moments that I didn't love him, though. King was a bit different from what I expected but in a good way. I wasn't sure what to think of Doe's character when the book started since she had amnesia and I feel like that's a crutch in some books. But I wound up seeing her evolve with each chapter and was rooting for her. King quickly had mixed feelings for her, pissed about how they met as well as intrigue since he can't get her out of his head. I was not very pleased with the ending, mainly due to the bombshell dropped and the story ending immediately. That being said I'm still curious about what happens next so more than likely I'll buy book two just to see. If you're been wanting to read KING, I'd suggest grabbing it, as well as book two so you're not left in my situation.

OMG OMG OMG, I floved this book!!! I know it is not for everyone as it is a really raw book and certain aspects are dark but it is written well. Let's face it, in literary world things that would be wrong in real life are easier to read. A while that may be wrong is some it is part of the escape of getting lost in another life. KING and Doe are not the once upon a time couple and HEA is questionable but you feel their story. I could really dive deep into this review but because I don't want to give you any spoilers I shall refrain BECAUSE I made the mistake of reading a review for this book prior to reading and a HUGE part was given away and took that away from me. Go on, one click and read....be open minded and allow yourself to be taken away because that is the best part.

The graphic violence here is a but more disturbing then the typical adult romance. I liked the characters despite their horrifying pesonal flaws though I cannot imagine a world where social services would hand a child back to the likes of King. There are huge plot holes and gaps in logical timing plus a desperate need to edit the typos. I'll give book 2 a try, hoping not to give myself nightmares...

I haven't read anything by T.M. Frazier so I didn't know what to expect. But lately, I've heard so many good things about this book and I decided to check it out. The truth is that there are some scenes that are just too dark for me but at the same time the writing is so good that even though I hated those scenes I simply couldn't stop reading. The story line in itself is quite intriguing and suspenseful. And there are some incredibly hot scenes that can definitely make you hyperventilate. King is definitely a delicious and drool worthy male specimen. He is dangerous, dominant bad boy that takes what he wants without any excuses. And I am pretty sure that if the thing he wants is you, you won't be against it ;) Even though in the beginning, I wasn't very keen on liking him, after I got to know him better and leaned about his broken and heartbreaking childhood, I was pretty much a goner. And even when he is rude and unreasonable, there is still something of the broken boy in him. King becomes an even more intriguing character once he meets Doe. It is quite fun to red about their interactions and constant fighting. In a way none of them actually recognizes the developing feelings until it is too late. I loved reading how King helps doe to heal and bloom and at the same time, she helped him become stronger and see his future. So, in my opinion they are just perfect for each other :) In a few words, this is an intriguing story, even if it is a little bit darker than what I usually read. So keep in mind that there are some scenes that will probably make you skin crawl or bile rise up your throat. I felt like that a few times. And there are scenes that will make you cry, they are just that heartbreaking. But it is definitely a worthy read because you just need King in your collection of BBFs ;) Now, I am jumping into Tyrant. I just need to know what happens next ;) P.S. I was listening to the audio book and I have to say that King's voice is sinfully delicious ;)

This book was awesome. I loved the way the author used the setting to draw you deeper imto the story. Characters were given personalities that were badass, but likeable. I really enjoyed all of the main and supporting characters because they each had their own personal journey that added to the overal story. Loved you Doe and King.

I ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK! WOW, What a rush. I could not put it down. I finished it in one day. The chemistry betwwen Doe and King was instantanious. Once they decided to take their relationship to the next level and admit their feelings for each other my Nook went up in flames. Lol. They're off the charts smokin hot. King is the epitome of badass alpha male. But after spending three years in prison something inside him changed like the Grinch his heart grew and he wanted to feel what it's like to love and be loved. Doe is sweet and innocent and really naive. She was beaten so bad she can't remember her own name or anything else about her life. She ends up living on the streets and starving to death. When she meets King she has just about reached the end of her rope. At times I was laughing out loud. Preppy cracked me up. He was King's bestfriend and they were complete opposits. At times I was crying my eyes out for Doe especially toward the end. The suspense was so intense I almost peed my pants. Lol. I highly recommend this bok to everyone.

King was irresistibly good! I'd never read or heard of Author T.M. Frazier until a few weeks ago when I came across that awesome teaser pic scene from Tyrant (King #2). I immediately pre-ordered Tyrant, and naturally, I had to read the first book. I started King on a Saturday. Unfortunately, being the snail paced reader that I am I didn't finish it before I had to spend the bulk of that Sunday with a buddy who was in town visiting. I hadn't seen this friend in 2 years. But it was hard not to feel a tiny bit of regret in the delay her visit created in my efforts to finish this novel before my work week began on Monday, and thereby delaying my read of Tyrant, lol! Minor spoilers alert!!! Things I really liked: 1. The Cover - it's strong, bold, magnetic and irresistible just like King. 2. The transition from the prologue to Ch. 1 – one of the best ones I’ve ever read. 3. The amnesia plotline - I'm a sucker for this plot element perhaps because the brain and how memory functions seems so complicated to me. 4. Preppy and Bear - as supporting characters, they really added to the story in a significant manner. I loved Preppy's nerdy look which contrasted with his truly bad boy behavior. His adolescent"GOAL" plan changed the course of his life and King's life as well. Bear seemed just like his name implied only with more than a dash of MC (motorcycle club) character traits thrown in. At one point, I was so mad at King that I would have been more than content to see Bear's offer change the direction of Doe's life. But most of all, I loved that Preppy and Bear were just stand-up buddies to King. And I liked how they easily extended a similar type of friendship to Doe. 5. Grace - she was another wonderful supporting character. I loved her relationship and importance in King's life. And that conversation she had with Doe was boss! 6. The sexual tension between King and Doe began with an unusual moment and snowballed from there. I was surprised by how their push and pull played out, and being surprised but liking it is always a good thing. 7. Doe - she was feisty, brave and warm. She didn't lie down and roll over at any moment even when sh*t got real crazy. Things that I didn't like so much: 1. King's relapse. He's alpha, no doubt about it. Honestly, I had no complaints about that. But when he pulled one stunt, I felt done with him. It seemed like odd timing and would have made more sense to me if it had occurred as part his consistent behavior early on. When his relapse happened, I was seriously over him. Fortunately, like Doe, I didn't stay pissed at him for too long. But my reaction was the first of its kind - something I am not used to experiencing at all. 2. The excessive amount of typos - it was jarring. And at one point, a repeated typo annoyed me so much that it took me out of a rather steamy scene. That said, I still really enjoyed this story and would hope that eventually Author T.M. Frazier will upload an updated version sooner than later. I started Tyrant immediately, and I'm eager to discover how King gets his revenge.
