I love the games, so finding out that they were making a manga adaption... well, I was thrilled. If you don't have time to play the games, this is perfect for you. I love the characters... you get attatched to each and every one of them. And the fact that it's Disney mixed with Final Fantasy means that all ages can enjoy these games and books. Check them out.

My favorite game now a manga! I hope it turns into a movie like that Final Fantacy Advent Children did. Oh and the other boy's name is Roxas. He's Sora's Nobody. Anyway if you haven't played the game you definitely should start! The manga is a funnier version of the game..I do hope they make it a movie out of all 3 of them like a series as well :)

KINGDOM HEARTS SHIRO AMANO 2002 In the Kindom Hearts book the main characters are Roxas and Sora. Early in the book you find that Roxas and Sora are really the same person living in different worlds. The other main character is Axel one of Roxas's best friends. Both Roxas and Axel work for the Organization. The Organization lives only in the night. Their mission is to collect hearts from those known as the Heartless. As the story goes on we find out that Roxas desperatly wants to find his dream life personality named Sora. As you read further into the book, characters in Kingdome Hearts start telling Roxas that he shouldn't really exist in the real world. Roxas starts to not only doubt his right to exist with the others inhis world . He also finds himself wondering whether the Organization he is apart of, has the right to do what it is doing to others in his world. The rest of the book is about Roxas' struggle to find out who or what he is and to find his rightful place in his world. Does he have a right to exist? The author wants the reader to ask themselves who has a right to exist and does anyone have the right to make that decision for them. I really enjoyed this book. I liked all the action.I also liked the idea that Roxas and Sora were really two people with the same body.I also like the character Maleficent. She reminded me of the wicked witch in Sleeping Beauty.Even Micky Mouse made an appearance in the book. If you like action, adventure and some really good guys you will enjoy Kingdom Hearts. I like the connection in Kingdom Hearts with the idea that Roxas was a student. The action of the story even took place on his summer vacation. Also I connected to the book Kingdom Heart because sometimes I can feel like two different people and I will sometimes wonder who is the real me. Then mabye that's what growing up is all about.

Shiro Amano did an absolutely wonderful job not only drawing the overly accessorized characters but portraying their personalities as well. These books are also really good and can be enjoyed by a wide variety of people because of all the different elements that make them up. The story, pictures, characters, situations, and worlds, to name a few things, are absolutely amazing, and Shiro also stuck with the story line very well with only a few additions to the story. However, he did them in a way that makes it so that people who have played the game don't get bored; it's like a cut scene and makes them even better. I HIGHLY reccomend this series.
