Meet the Author


Eleanor Farjeon (1881–1965) was a writer and poet and playwright. While best known for her children’s verse and stories, she was also a regular contributor to Punch Magazine (1914–17), and wrote the words of the popular hymn "Morning has Broken". Herbert Farjeon (1887–1945) was a drama critic, writer, playwright, theater manager, and theater researcher. He was the brother of Eleanor Farjeon.
