Kiss Me Kate is the sixth of six books about the Philadelphia-based, wildly-handsome English brothers (and one lovely cousin!) who are all on the look-out for love.

Kate English, cousin to the beguiling English Brothers, has relocated to Philadelphia and now works with her cousins at English & Company. The problem with moving to Philly? It was where Kate met her first love, Etienne Rousseau. Since the move, Kate can't seem shake the painful memories of a romance that broke her heart.

Etienne Rousseau, neighbor and arch-enemy of the English family, is recently single and has every intention of enjoying his newly-minted bachelor-status. That is...until his brother inks a deal with English & Company, forcing Etienne to work with his one-time lover, Kate English. Though he wants to hate the girl who once destroyed his life, he can't deny the fierce attraction or hide the deep tenderness he still feels for Kate.

With vibrant flashbacks of their passionate, teenage love affair making it impossible to ignore their unresolved history, Kate and Etienne will commit to unraveling the secrets of their heartbreaking past to make way for a breathtaking future.

I truly wish I could give this book more than 5 stars!  I absolutely loved every book in this series and swore with each one it was my favorite and couldn't be topped - and then I read Kiss Me Kate.  It's a good thing the series ended with this book because there is no way it could be topped.  Going into this book I wanted to hate Etienne but it is absolutely impossible, you will be absolutely in love with him a quarter way through!  This is an epic love story that will make you laugh, cry, and fall in love along with Kate and Etienne.  I truly hope we see more of these two in the spin off series!

5 stars for Kiss Me Kate! Kiss Me Kate is a story of first love, first heartache, and having a second chance at love.  Author Katy Regnery is an amazing writer so it came as no surprise that I loved everything about this book! In Kiss Me Kate Etienne Rousseau and Kate English meet as teenagers and have a summer love affair.  When Kate returns to her home they promise to continue their romance.  But a misunderstanding and rivalry between their families destroy their chances of love.  With no other choice but to move on, years go by until Kate and Etienne are finally reunited for a business deal.  But their painful past stands in the way of the deal and for them to move forward.  Author Katy Regnery took the classic Romeo and Juliet and gave them a modern day voice through Kate and Etienne. Instead of the tragic ending in the classic tale, Kiss Me Kate has characters who fight for their chance to be together. With all of Katy Regnery’s books it is the characters that I fall in love with. Kate is beautiful, intelligent and caring. But with Etienne the author does the impossible by making a hated character from previous books into one of my favorite book boyfriends of this series. In Seduced by Stratton (The English Brothers #4) Etienne was introduced as the womanizing, unfaithful boyfriend.  But we learn that not everything is as it seems and Etienne was hurt just as much as Kate was from their breakup.  As you learn more of their past you can’t help but cheer for them to have a happily ever after ending. Kate and Etienne story was the most romantic of The English Brothers series. There are some sexy and steamy scenes but what touched me most was the intense chemistry between the characters.  The passion between Kate and Etienne was clear from the flashbacks and also from their present day conversations. I loved that Kate and Etienne cared enough for each other to talk about the past instead of just jumping in to bed.  Their heartfelt confessions to each other were swoon worthy and written beautifully that it brought me to tears. Kiss Me Kate is the 15th book I’ve read and reviewed from Katy Regnery and it lived up to my expectations. Katy Regnery has perfected her writing of creating short and quick stories that are filled with the same amount of intrigue and emotion of full length novels. The English Brothers series are only 200 pages long but I am happily satisfied but at the same time I would love more! I am sad that this is the final book for the series but I can’t wait to read for the spin-off series, The Winslow Brothers! Kiss Me Kate and The English Brothers series is a must read for all romance fans!

Delightful! Favorite Quotes: “Like any other normal, hot-blooded woman who’d ever been dumped and forgotten by an ex, she had a compulsive interest in him that was enabled by the ease of social media.  Finding out about his life was this strange, irresistible weakness she couldn’t seem to overcome.” “She wanted hot, wet, sweet, messy, filthy kisses that would make her toes curl.  She wanted fingers that burned her skin like fire, lips that sucked until she screamed, and a tongue that could make stars burst behind closed eyes.” Had he just insulted her or complimented her?  He’d somehow managed to call her fat-assed and perfect at the same time, which was sort of mean, but sort of amazing.” “We crammed more into those days than I ever could have thought possible – enough to live on for half a lifetime.  I never forgot about you, I never stopped missing you, I never stopped wanting you, and I never stopped –“ My Review: I can always count on Katy Regnery’s stories to vastly improve my mood as they are delightful, and I was much in need of a lift in spirit.  I was totally entertained for the day while reading this well written and addictive second chance romance.  In making my way through her English Brother stories, I have found them to be sweet, tender, and just adorable - like a Hallmark movie - yet with enough spice to flavor a savory meal, and enough steam to get all the wrinkles out of the laundry.  I have treasured reading each in the series, and was nearing despair when I realized she had tapped the last of the siblings, so imagine my relief to see she had extended her scope to include their cousin.  Her books are an easy read and have a gentle flow with characters that are somewhat flawed yet always endearing.  And I find once I start one of her books, I fall into them and am generally occupied for the entire day, as I just cannot seem to find a place in the story to stop.

Katy's stories just keep getting better and better. I could not put this book down. We first met Etienne in Seduced by Stratton, oh how I hated him. Really Katy, you wanted me to read a whole story on him. I am now a changed girl after reading Kate and Etienne story. A modern day Romeo and Juliet. I too, am in love with Etienne. I really enjoyed how the story was told in past and present day, blended so well. Loved the ending of the book, a great wrap to the end of the series. I will so miss the English brothers. I received this book from the author for an honest review.

This touching reunited lovers romance is the story of Kate and Etienne. A whirlwind teenage love affair ended in hurt and despair when their families intervened without their knowledge, leaving them both with memories and broken hearts. Now 12 years later, their families' companies have planned a business merger and Kate and Etienne must deal with each other as legal counsels - will putting this deal together also mend their broken hearts? I loved this story! All of Katy Regnery's previous English Brother's series books have been delightful romantic and sexy stories and I had big expectations for this one which were handily delivered. Told in both Etienne and Kate's points of view and including flashbacks of their meeting and falling in love as teenagers, it's a combination of sweet, tender and sexy as they both can't hide the fact now as adults that they still have feelings for each other. The emotion is spot on, detailing that teenage first love feeling so well. I really enjoyed Kate's character as she tries to hide her heart from Etienne fearing it will be broken yet again. She's now a strong, accomplished businesswoman willing to put aside her personal feelings for a business deal that she knows is the right decision for the company. But she can't deny the chemistry between them, and it explodes even from their first look at each other again, years later. Etienne too is an engaging character, dealing with a reputation that has been wrongly assumed by many but never bothering to fix it, figuring that his true friends will know the type of man he is. He has a playboy reputation but in reality has never gotten over Kate. As they start to unravel what actually happened to break them up as teenagers, it becomes impossible to put the book down! I stayed up to the wee hours to finish this story, and I warn other readers to be prepared - once you start it you'll be hooked! 5 stars for an enchanting star crossed lovers tale with a satisfying happy ending.
