If you have read the series is is just the next chapter. Taking you back to how it all began, Jack and Mary's love story had me hooked and I couldn't put the book down.

## SWEET. Really sweet. Jack was amazing. As was Mary. There wasn't much conflict in this book. It was pretty much love at first sight and there were some really tender moments. A bit repetitive at times, ergo 4 stars. However, this Sullivan series is so amazing that I can forgive any minor flaws. Please do yourself a favor and read all of them. They are worth every penny.

As posted on The Smutty Kitty reviewed by KittyKelly 4.5 out of 5 Licks I admit I was a little nervous to read this one. I devoured the previous Sullivan books and I was afraid that Mary and Jack's book wouldn't live up to the story already in my mind. Thankfully I was wrong. While I did find the book dragging a bit at times, overall it was the perfect love story for them. Knowing Jack's fate did make the book harder for me to read, but it made me love him more than I already did (which I wasn't sure was possible). The book leans a little more on the sweeter side than smutty, but there were some pretty steamy sex scenes between these two. I found myself starting to cry multiple times while reading this one-particularly right at the beginning. I'm not sure a sweeter man ever excited than Jack Sullivan. He wanted Mary more than he had ever wanted anything else in the world, yet he still put his own wants aside to give her everything she could have ever wanted. The only thing that would have made this better for me would have been adding in the rest of her family arriving at the end, but that's because I am a series whore and I never want them to end. lol While I would recommend reading the other books in this series first, I don't think you are missing anything if you don't. This story is all about Mary and Jack and so worth the read!

The latest in the Sullivan Family is another hit! If you haven't read these...DO IT NOW! I read it in one sitting..... why pay attention at work? Jack and Mary set the stage for a great family. (And Bella Andre's characters speak with incredible voice.)

I have to admit to being a bit disappointed. I know that everyone wanted to know Jack and Mary's story, but I always felt that Mary was much more important that Jack to the series, since she raised them mostly alone all those years. In the last couple of books, the author hinted that Mary may have found a new love and I was hoping it was true. But in the end, she hadn't gotten her second chance, and that made me sad.

Seems like every turn of the page was 2 pages so not real sure how long the book actually is... way too long in my opinion. This book read like someone telling the story in a dispassionate voice and using way to many words to get to the point... And what was the point, anyway?

Reviewed by Jen Book provided by NetGalley for review Review originally posted at Romancing the Book I’ve been a huge fan of this series for years and have watched all eight of the Sullivan kids find love. And I’ve always been kind of curious about their parent’s story since throughout the books it is obvious how much the siblings love their mother and miss their father. This book is technically number ten in the series, however it really is a prequel. The kids are mentioned at the beginning and end of the story, but most of the book is Mary’s flashback to when she met and fell in love with Jack. The book does stand alone, but will most definitely be more satisfying if you’d read other books in the series first. So, Mary and Jack. She’s a world famous model and he’s a small-time inventor. They happen to meet on the day she was to retire from modeling. He talks her into becoming the spokesperson for his invention that he wants to get on the market for the holiday season. She says yes, but doesn’t want to mix business and pleasure even though there is this spark of attraction between them. But of course, since we already know that they fell in love and had eight kids, the thrill is learning how they’ve get to their happily ever after. I had to keep a box of tissue handy for this book. Mary and Jack just broke my heart with all they had to overcome to get together and then knowing that they only had a limited time together. Between their careers, a family illness, miscommunication, well, their road to happily ever after was not smooth. But I was riveted to the pages and couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. I loved every minute of this story. It was an emotional ride that I highly recommend everyone to enjoy. And I can’t wait to see what’s next from the Sullivan family!

Bella Andre did it again! I was hesitant on reading this story after having read all of the others, but I'm so glad that I did. My only complaint is that I wish it were longer. Now I am anxiously waiting for the next one! I guess I'll just go back and start reading the Sullivans Series again.

So happy to read how it all started with Jack and Mary. Couldn't help but feel a bit sad because I knew how it ended, but was a heartwarming read! Don't miss this one!

I loved the Sullivans and have read all this series to date. Can't wait for the next one to come out. Could do without so much of the sex telling and they all make love the same - what's with that? Otherwise, fell in love with the characters and just had to read them all, one after another. Great series!

I have read all the whole Sullivan series but one, I skipped Lori to read Mary & Jack's love story, it truly was a LOVE story. I have enjoyed all of them but this was the best, Jack & Mary truly ex-perienced what love should be all about. I am now going to read Lori's story.

I read the 1st 8 Sullivan stories and each one would become my new favorite! But then to read Mary & Jack's story and see where it all began, I have an all-time favorite now! Fabulous story even though I wish Jack was still alive!

Jack Sullivan is an inventor with a PhD in electrical engineering. He is very handsome, kind, understanding and is a great listener. He comes from a very close knit family.  He is driven to get his Pocket Planner on the market. He has been focused for 10 years designing and refining the device with two friends. They are given 24 hours to find a way to convince retailers, with a publicity and marketing plan, that their device will be very profitable.  Mary Ferrer is from Rome, Italy and is a world class supermodel. She left home at 19 to follow her dream to model and has not returned in 13 years. She is estranged from her parents and is an only child. She is smart, independent, cynical and wondering what to do with the rest of her life.  Their meeting was serendipitous. Jack asked her to help them with the marketing and publicity for the Pocket Planner and she agrees. As they travel the road to love they have a deep attraction to each other that Jack agrees to control it until they finish the campaign. They find themselves becoming closer and closer, each sharing thoughts and feelings they had never shared with anyone else. This is a charming, heartwarming and thoroughly delightful story. This is the tenth book in the series about the Sullivan’s, I have catching up to do!  I received an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I have heard about the Sullivan books before, but this was my first read in the series. Let me tell you, I started with the right book! I really like the idea of beginning with the love story of the parents, and then finding out how their influence affected their children’s love stories. I knew that I was going to love this story from the prologue, and I’m sure that if you are a mom like me, who loves a warm happy story, you would agree that watching this mom unwrap Christmas ornaments and remembering Christmases past really hits home, but it was the last line that gave me that “wow” feeling... “And as Mary closed her eyes to savor her memories of falling in love with Jack Sullivan, the first snowflakes of winter began to fall...” (Andre, location 146) This story was the absolute perfect example of love at first sight, and two people who were completely meant to be. You could feel the sizzle right through the pages, even without the bedroom scenes. I appreciated that even though these two people were made for each other, they still had to overcome insecurities from the past, as well as doubts because everything seemed too perfect. Kissing Under the Mistletoe takes readers from California to Italy on a journey of true love that made not only a couple, but a family. I am excited to return to the Sullivan’s and meet the children of Jack and Mary. With an example like this couple, I’m sure that there is much more love in those pages.

I love all of the stories.  But Jack and Mary is truly my absolute favorite.  I fell in love with Jack myself.
