Cinnamon Stitch isn't your typical princess. She's a tomboy who finds her life as a princess too restrictive. She doesn't want to wear fancy dresses or practice decorum--she just wants to be free to enjoy herself. My daughters and I love this book! We love the fun, sing-song rhyme, the vibrant, colorful illustrations and the accompanying CD read by Imelda Staunton. As a parent and educator, I also appreciate the positive message the book sends. And if that wasn't enough, there are instructions to make a kite at the back of the book. This is one book we will both read and listen to over and over again--a real treasure!
