About the Author

My younger adventures took place as a waterman's daughter. My father followed Great-Uncle Corbit Hill to the Mobjack Bay and Virginia's grand James River oyster beds. Daddy learned and worked hard in the rivers while Mom took care of the home front. It was a great decision, for we prospered.
My joys included being barefoot and carrying a bamboo fishing pole. After years of being away, I returned to Virginia. I live to write and travel, but I also enjoy family, anything water, and wildlife. I am overflowing with stories and adventures to share, so please watch for new books to come.
