Overview

The Knightsgift came unbidden to Tahis when he needed it most. Given the chance, he mastered it. Having mastered it, he serves his King and Kingdom. So it comes to be that he rides with two other Knights to the aid of a small village where people are disappearing in the forest. There he finds the scent of injustice and the stench of worse things, but also a sharp-witted, strong-willed woman who serves her people as herbalist, who sees the truth in Tahis, and who can tell him what the Sheriff will not.
