This book is very useful in getting sweaters in all sizes and styles and it is also easy to read. The only drawback is you cannot read this book on any other device other than a Nook. I would I have preferred to read it on my laptop or to be able to print out the instructions that I want to knit. If I have know this from the beginning, I would have purchased the paperback instead, hence the 4-star rating.

This book offers me the ability to make a variety of patterns with a variety of yarn weights. While it did take me a few minutes to "get the hang" of reading the pattern charts, once I did, following the pattern was a piece of cake. My first sweater using this book is a success!

This, like Ann Budd's other knitting guides is easy to follow, with lots of options for each style. I would recommend this for the advanced beginner to advanced knitter.

This is a must have book for knitters. It shows easy ways of knitting sweaters without having to do a lot of sew seams. Don't have to guess and it makes it easy to read patterns for different sizes. Highly recommend it for a treat in knitting.

Take the math out of customisation. Great directions. Beautiful patterns for men, women, and children.

I have done a raglan sweater in a women's pattern and wanted to have some basic instructions on putting together sweaters for the men in the family and making new things. This book is so confusing! Who starts a crew neck raglan working flat until you get to the end of the increases for the shoulders? Plus adding stitches in the front? Also, casting on stitches in the front of the work before starting to work in the round? HUH???? Maybe under the arms, but in front of the work??? NO... I am taking this one back to the store and starting again. Plus of course you pay more for a print copy and apparently get shafted a whole chapter????? Pff, your kidding???
