In Knitting Never Felt Better, beloved Vogue Knitting author and needlework artist Nicky Epstein brings her passion for embellishment and texture to the art of felting. Using ten chic garments and more than 150 stunning sample swatches as examples, she covers the top techniques for turning wool, alpaca and cashmere yarns into vibrant and dense textures. Before and after shots show how different fabrics react to the process, and there are patterns, stitches, and techniques for lace, mosaics, cables, plaids, checks, and quilting.
Create bobbles, appliqués, and ruffles; combine yarns; and use clamps, marbles, cords, braids, and more to form three-dimensional shapes in the felt. Also included in the volume are Epstein’s unique ideas for transforming old clothes and accessories to create new and wearable designs. An array of attractive home décor projects completes this collection beautifully. Choose this gorgeous hardcover edition for a lasting gift.
Booklist has said of Epstein’s previous titles “[S]o useful and lush… inviting and so easy to use.” It’s easy to see why this knitting guide has become a selection of the Crafter's Choice Book Club.

I admit that I have not made anything yet from this book, However, I feel that it is a must have for all creative needlecraftspersons. The illustrarions are fresh, new, innovative and could be interpreted into other needlework forms. I love this book and have probably sold a couple more by sharing it with my friends. This would be a great gift
If you ever wanted to, some would say full rather than felt but felt is what's used in the book, felt a knitted object this is the book for you. It goes into detail about how to felt, how to create different effects with wool, soap and hot water. There are a few patterns but they're more for inspiration than anything else, the real meat of this book is in the techniques and the how to. Lavishly photographed with before and after photgraphs this is an excellent book on it's topic.
If you like to felt, this is a fun book! Lots of examples of different yarns before and after felting.
