Having bought Gershon's first book, I didn't hesitate to buy his second. While the first book looked at planned assaults, this one looks at situations that occur spontaneously e.g. you spill a drink over somebody in a bar. Perhaps the most valuable section in the book is on how to deescalate situations and take the emotion out of an incident. I also liked that he showed different solutions, to certain situations, depending on different circumstances - this flexible approach means that the reader isn't just stuck with one approach, and can possibly move between others should something go wrong. A great book on self-defense that I'd recommend to anyone.
