2 years was a long time to wait but this instant classic was SO worth it. It was like Bladerunner meets Jurassic World, a peek into a warped future with seas ruled by monsters and humanity trying to stem the tide. And not. Great visuals and the characters were either so good or so horrible (in a good way) you couldn't help but bite your nails. Technology advances were utterly believable and the battle scenes had me on the verge of a heart attack. And the monsters? Forget Megalodon Tiamat rules! Can't wait for the second half to see what happens.

Five stars and ten thumbs up for Kronos Rising Kraken! This book had me it's grasp from the first page till the last sentence. I will be reading this book again soon and I am highly recommending Kronos Rising Kraken for anyone that loves Marine Terror with a bite or a squeeze :)

I am in a book club and this series was suggested by my daughter and everyone in the group loved it! It is a terrifyingly fantastic read, since finishing this book I have read the others I ended up reading them out of order but had no problem keeping track because no matter which book I read they was all fantastic. I will be reading these books again at the beach this summer.

First let me say I loved Kronos Rising and was excited to see more books in the series. The book was very exciting and action filled with good characters. However that is where it ends. This book is set 30 years later and about the original couple's fraternal twin sons. Some exciting moments with different beasts but the boys relationship is tedious and hardly about a Kraken at all. There is a mystery as to whether their mother was murdered. That said it also left us as a cliffhanger with Vol. 2 to come but no word of when or if ever it will be released. This was a very lengthy rambling book to be left in the dark an indeterminate amount of time waiting for Volume 2. Very disappointed after how good the original Kronos Rising was to read.

This story line is way out there in a good way. Some times a bit "technical " but I could get past that. It had some nail biter parts, and overall a good Science fiction book. My gripe is that just when the story is going really exciting, you turn the page to : "continued in part 2" There is no part 2. I tryed to find it and cant. So they leave you hanging. By the time part 2 is out, I'll have to re-read part 1 . I would have given more stars if there was a conclusion .
