Overview

Kuy Syan Joshua by Magnolia Belle

The story of Kûy Syân Joshua tracks two diverse ways of life: Kiowa and white. In 1851, Lana Cooper, a white woman, makes a choice to live with her Kiowa husband, Two Hawks, thus keeping her family from knowing she's alive. While the western frontier brews in hostilities between indigenous tribes and bluecoats, back east, the country is divided by Civil War. When the war ends, Lana's first husband Liam O'Connell finds himself on the losing side and must somehow piece his world back together. These two lives dance and weave around each other, bringing them closer and closer to the truth, while Lana and Two Hawks fight to keep their family alive on the high plains of Texas.

"Still cold..." He sighed, padding completely out of the water and sitting just above the water line. <br> ((Gtg. ): Bbl or bbt.))

From page one I could not put this novel down, and when I did, it left me thinking about it. Everything that I have read from this wonderful author has been great, and keeps on getting better. You will not be disappointed with this one, and I can't wait to read the next. Magnolia puts you into the Texas sunrise and makes sure that you feel the heat of the day as a young man grows to be a warrior. And learns what it means to be caught in the middle of the white man's world and the Kiowa Indian's. Without a hesitation I give this novel 5 stars. Shawn Weaver - Author, Dragon's Chest
