Art Elfee is in his final year of school, and whilst trying to deal with the unexpected attentions of the prettiest girl in his year, he is also hiding a huge secret; one of his best friends is a sprite, who appeared from nowhere four years in Art's past. Art believes their very treasured friendship has remained a secret, but the appearance of a magical Amulet transports him to a strange world, and a snow-covered village, where one of it's inhabitants lets it slip that Art's sprite-friend may not be all he seems...
Arthur seems like a very ordinary boy, but over the course of his fantastical journey discovers he may just be at the centre of one of the most misunderstood legends of our time, that also turns out to be far from mythical. And although he has never been anything but amazingly unremarkable, Art Elfee could just be the boy with the coolest destiny of all.

Brick with a spacious yard/pasture out front and back. It is on a hill, nestled into the summit. The driveway is half gravel-half cement. It is a 4-bed and 3-bath house, holding her 3 brithers, though one now in college, and her younger sister, as well as her parents. It is two stories, the basement remaining cooler than the top floor; it has a double car garage and an elevated deck out back. Her room is seafoam green with 3 fish tanksm one currently empty. Her bed is a bulky wooden framed thing with many drawers. Artwork and posters line the walls and many handmade things are scattered around.
Reviews from Amazon: "Great book" By Becky Dell: Loved this book! Couldn't put it down, and want the next one NOW! I guess this is written as a children's book, but as a 31 year old I loved it too. Real characters and lovely descriptions. "Dynamic and Entertaining" By Peggy M.I.L.: An interesting take on a traditional genre with lots of twists and turns. The characters are engaging and the environment is warm and welcoming. I want the recipe for Stroth Brew and the craft aspects are great too. Everyone should have Maga in their life. As an adult I thoroughly enjoyed the book and my grandson is reading it too. I am looking forward to the next book - when do we meet "the boss"? Well done, a promising new author.
