Palermo, Italy, 1938: the war is still far away. Glitter is a young German artist, came to Italy to practice painting. Elisheva is the young daughter of a tailor of Jewish family. They meet and fall in love, live together a summer of sun, kisses, sunsets, thoughtless and completely enveloped by their love.
But the reality is pitiless: Glitter is ordered to enlist in the Wehrmacht.
