I just read this book and highly recommend it. I live in Biketown, USA (Boulder) and found this book to be fun and informative. It lays out the whole story about Lance. His wild youth, his fight with cancer, his troubles with his father and step-father and the incredible return to cycling after being so sick that the doctors all but left him for dead. John Wilcockson's depth and range makes this a story no other author could tell. No one knows the international cycling scene better. For 40 years he has been at the forefront of this amazing sport and he brings it all to bear in telling this controversial story.
