Land Tenure Journal is a peer-reviewed, open-access flagship journal of the Climate, Energy and Tenure Division of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Land Tenure Journal, launched in early 2010, is an electronic successor of the Land Reform, Land Settlement and Co-operatives bulletin, which was published between 1964 and 2009.
The journal aims to be a leading publication in the areas of tenure, policy and reform of land and other natural resources. The prime beneficiaries of the journal include professionals and practitioners from international and national agencies, academia, central and local governments, and civil society organizations. The journal allows room for practice-orientated articles and for relevant academic contributions and theoretical analysis. The journal will link FAO with professionals of tenure of land and other natural resources around the world and provide an open, impartial, forum promoting the latest global knowledge in land tenure in its broadest sense.
