They are a small bunny with very large round brown eyes, short but straight ears, and a very fluffy white fur coat. The title character is named Bushido, who is the last of his ancient samurai warrior class. Bushido itself started as a type of Buddhist philosophy in twelfth-century Japan. By the seventeenth century, Bushido was a word meaning “way of the warrior” and was the code of conduct and chivalry used by the samurai warrior class.
