Ok it's either someone was having way too much fun with this review thing or they actually wrote a suicide letter on a book review. If that's the case then they really are stupid. Suicide is never the answer! The deffinition of suicide is a permenit solution for a temporary problem. My advice is don't ever try to commit suicide, unless you wanna go to Hell. By the way if you have ever seen M*A*S*H 4077 the tv show about the Korian war then you would know that the main character gets his nick-name from this book HAWKEYE is the name and he's a surgine the other most memberable character is RADAR but he's not really important. This has nothing to do with the book just so you know. Remember my advice and take it to heart NO SUICIDE.

I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't check if it was simplified first. This probably would be great for kids but I lost my paperback copy and having names like le subtil translated to sly fox in this version seems hokey.

1000 pages of adventure that leaves you engrossed with the characters and "living" in the forests of Northern New York. I became attached to one of the characters and was sad to have the book end and to say good bye to her and her rescuers. The cost of the book was negible and kept me entertained for a month.
