I loved the whole book from beginning to end. It was very entertaining and heart-warming. I needed to be alone when it came to the last couple of chapters. I love the French for being so pet friendly; which I experienced first hand on a trip to Paris!

I don't think a Human can give another Human this much love. A DOG is just not a DOG it is what us humans would want as unconditional love. The love between Lauren and Kaye was unconditional love. I know anyone who has had a dog can testify to this statement.

Lauren's Story really tugs at your heartstrings. I had a lump in my throat before I finished the Prologue. Any true dog lover understands the concept of 'unconditional love', but this story illustrates it to it's fullest capacity. Kay and her little beagle Lauren shared a deep, abiding love. Kay's empathy for Lauren, and the devotion and commitment described in the story are heartwarming. Lauren's Story also made me laugh out loud, as Kay describes Lauren's obsession with food and her escapades. Most of the story takes place in Paris, and it made me want to pack up my dog, travel to Paris, and dine with her in all the restaurants. What a great gift book for the dog lovers out there!

This is for every dog-lover who can read! And lovers of Paris too. It's also so much more than a dog story. I guarantee you won't be able to put this book down once you started. I laughed and I cried.
