Evelyn Adams wrote a love story. Candy was the oldest daughter of Senator Jensen. She grew up being molded into the perfect child for an aspiring politician. She was trained to be the perfect asset in her Daddy's campaign team. Andrew was a lawyer. He loved his life in court and in his small town. Until the day Taylor, his girl, fell in love with someone else. Now, her brother had a destination marriage in London, and he was faced with a quandary. To go alone and endure his friend's family pity as Taylor and her husband attended the wedding, or take someone else? Candy broke free of her father's ivory tower. She wanted to go to college, but not on his dime. If her father paid there were too many strings on her. Then she met Kate and she found the well paid job of stripping... This story is about how Candy met Andrew and how life changed. It is not a cliffhanger. It is one of a series as Taylor and her siblings fell in love. The sex was explicit but was part of their story. I recommend it for mature adult readers.

Adams has done it again with her story of a caring, close family and Andrew and Candy's unexpected meeting when she smashes into his truck. The relationship between the two of them that follows is a terrific advevture.

This is the first time I’ve read this author’s Southerland family books. I really like the interaction between the main characters of Andrew and Candy. While their arrangement appears to be simple, it changes throughout the book. Now I’m hooked! I’m going to go back to the first book in the series and catch up!

I received the ARC in exchange for an honest review. I am a big fan of the author and have enjoyed all her books. I am also a big fan of this series and have read all the previous books. Andrew, the hero in this story has been featured in all the books as a close family friend, pseudo brother and a crush Taylor has had in previous books. In this book Taylor is taken and there is a big family wedding (Blake and Sam’s) in England. Andrew is wanting a date for the event so everyone doesn’t feel sorry for him because Taylor chose someone else. When he is hit by another car. The drive is stunning, blonde and has no insurance and so Andrew takes her home to be his fake girlfriend. The blonde is Candy, a stripper/dancer from Pennsylvania. She is also a senior in college who will graduate with a Biochem degree if she can get the money together for her senior year. Andrew offers her a job and the money to fix her car so she agrees. Never did I think that I would love Candy more than I have loved any character in this series. She is not your average stripper and in fact she made me change the way I look at stripping. To her dancing is about power. I loved how proud and strong she was and how she told Andrew that she strips because of how strong it makes her feel. The story was simply wonderful and so romantic. Andrew and Candy really get to know each other and you can see how deep they fall into love. You get to see all the characters in the series in this book and all their babies and I loved it. This book was fun, and I love both Andrew and Candy. They were really perfect for each other and Andrew is an absolute sweetheart. I cannot wait for the last book on the last brother standing, Adam.

I love Andrew.. Ok at the end of book 6 he wasn't my favourite person, but I'm so glad he had a chance to redeem himself.. This book is full of the ups, downs and drama that you expect from an Evelyn Adams book. I loved the story, and love that from the first word I was drawn back into the family (always nice to hear how the others are getting on). Andrew has shown that he is no longer the playboy, but that he is ready and open to love and new beginnings, yes making a job offer like that was bound to have its problems, the easy road isn't always the way you expect it to be. Can't wait to read Adams story, he deserves a bit of love.
