The author walks the talk as he describes his own journey of being over-balanced early in his career. Life is a choice. Whether it's a balance in exercise, sleep, diet, working hours or recreation, Hutchinson offers helpful guidelines as well as key reflection questions for individual and/or group reflection at the end of each chapter When applied, he recounts the very positive effects experienced in relationships at work, home and community. The "Culture and Core Value Fit" questionnaire for those employed or for job seekers, was particularly helpful for me to use in helping others experience congruity in the workplace. The symptoms of living a frantic life are all around us. I would recommend this book as well as the book "Margin" by Dr. Richard Swenson for those trying to reflect on how to reduce stress and regain balance in their lives.
