Overview

In the 22nd century, mankind has solved its problem with poverty: Exterminators hunt and kill those designated as "Losers". Rem Schlock is an Exterminator freshly assigned to the Angeles Sector. All he has ever known is hunting Losers. In Angeles Sector, the ruins of what was once a powerful metropolis housing millions of people, he finds himself on the trail of a mysterious "Leader of the Losers," often considered a fantasy amongst the Exterminator Corps. Duane Gundrum is the author of over a dozen novels. He has been writing for several decades and can sometimes obsess for hours over the right choice of word or words. He attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, served in the United States Army in counterintelligence, holds numerous graduate degrees and did doctorate work at Western Michigan University.
