This is a good book, but you have to be prepared to look a little silly in front of humans. I think that it is good information, though.

My Rhodesian Ridgeback really needed me to read this book! He's much more confident now and EAGER to obey. I had been doing so many things the wrong way and it was confusing him. The authors explain things from the dog's point of view.

I started working with a 1 1/2 year old german shepard who was somewhat aggressive and thought he was top dog with everyone. This book gave me the tools to completely retrain this dog and allowing me to show/teach him where his 'place in the pack' was. Isch did a 360 in his personality, becoming more submissive, cooperative and eager to please. He became a joy to train and work with.
